Not even close, TxSunMan. Going to a nice hotel bar is a crapshoot, and it takes time, AND a line of bullshit. Paying for sex is simple: $$$ for pussy. However, the biggest reason men pay for sex is elimination of drama. Men want pussy, they want strange, but they don't want all the drama that comes with even a hotel bar pickup. That hotel-girl wants wine, champagne, a two hour courtship, then your name, your number, etc... She wants to feel like it wasn't "cheap."

Fuck all that. Men don't pay for sex, they pay for the girl to get the hell out after sex. They pay to not play all the damn games that women attach to the snatch.

There are too many reasons why people pay for sex, and we all have different ones. I don't think that there is a one solid formula to answer it all.

If you have to super-simplify it... I would guess that, it's because the resources are available to be utilized and the sex is there to be had.
