DEAR_JOHN is a decent man and I agree Eagle is not Russian. But I don't believe Eagle should be banned - no matter what his opinions.

Of course America will fall eventually - all nations and empires disappear in the end. Rome used to dominate the world, then Spain, England, France: look where they are now & the Turks who used to keep law & order in the Balkans and the Middle East can't even keep Kurds in check these days. I see no reason why America coudn't meet the challenge offered by the Chinese, the Hindus, the Brazilians or the Iranis: America met the chalenge offered by the Soviets, after all (when so many people belived we were losing the cold war). But I am concerned about the poor quality of leadership in America, right now - at the beginning of the cold war great diplomats and military men like Marshall and Harriman were able to organize America and the West for ultimate victory but there are no Marshalls and Harrimans right now just Sarah Palin and Barak Obamamia

It's an either/or deal. Either eagle is a worthy adversary, or he's a troll. If he were a worthy adversary, or even semi-worthy, then he should by all means be allowed to continue to make his case. In my opinion his posts have been only for the purpose of provocation, lacking any semblance of logic or argumentation in furtherance of any idea. He's no adversary, merely a provocateur, a troll.

Ban his ass if he can't provide a cogent case for or against whatever it is he favors or opposes. Whether or not his position is agreeable to the membership is irrelevant, but don't allow him to continue to lob random turds into the punchbowl.

He's a witless troll. He's laughing at you with his avatar flipping the bird at you. Over a month ago I sent a PM to one of the mods of the Houston forums to check his IP address. I have a pretty good idea of who he is and informed the mod. The mod basically replied 'Thank You' but I haven't heard anything else from him.

Its best to put him on ignore and Don't Feed The Troll.

BTW Dear_John, I reported "JimEd"s various personas to DiamondJohn multiple times and it took him a while to catch on and react.

When you corner eagle with words , as I have done, he/ she closes with "whatever" or name calling! That is simply the platform of a weak debate! ADMIT DEFEAT ADMIT IT Don't close with "whatever" or "morons". Just admit that a female cornered you and you had no way out but to name call or put your tail between your legs.
