I think people should really be turning their gaze towards the new AG. His actions are much more important than the governor, IMHO. I don't know much about him, but he has the power and is in the right political spot to hurt the hobby and SC.

You are going to see the same law in Kansas as you have seen in Missouri, Brownback is friends with the guy and his religious organization that wrote the law for the 22 other cities and 5 states who have adopted it.

Advance the hobby??? How about advance freedom... My choice for AG is a Libertarian who thinks that rape, murder, kidnapping, and theft are very bad thing. don't you? He also thinks that victimless crimes like prostitution should be of a much lesser priority.

I did not vote for Brownback, never been a fan. For the record I voted for Andrew Gray the Libertarian.

It's always been my experience that bible-thumping lunatics don't mind being labeled as bible-thumping lunatics. In his twisted world view he probably believes that putting morality above jobs will actually help him politically.

I expect, at the very least, a bill very similar the the Missouri one cracking down on adult entertainment. And I will be very surprised if there isn't a full blown assault on the hobby.

People like Brownback, who have an overdeveloped holier-than-thou self-righteous streak, think it is their god-assigned mission to impose their superior morality on the poor, ignorant, unenlightened schleps like you and me.

If you would have voted for a Libertarian candidate, Tea Party candidate, or yourself...you would have been crowing about it. A simple 'no' would have been as easy as typing two letters. Instead, you puffed up and faked outrage. Dead giveaway. You voted for Brownback.
