Hello to all... what would the correct process for meeting up with some of the local board members for beverages and whatnot to get to know some folks for reference leverage down the road..? Not sure what the specific etiquette would be. I frequent the car shows and frequent the hot rod scene around the Centex area frequently and wouldn't mind visiting there as well.

Hard to get into the hobby without references and difficult to. Contact a provider with no back up to give when female references are requested... appreciate the help and hope this post doesn't cross any lines. Thanks!
