Minnesota is the new California: the bastion of no law and disorder by its Tampon Tim Loving residents
Stop impeding, blocking, protesting, interfering, resisting, obstructing ICE Federal Officers and you won't get shot.
Attacking an ICE officer (or anyone whom you clearly can see is open carrying a firearm for that matter) with a shovel is a BIG NO NO!
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c205677pxvxo
Democrats and Liberals claim to be the party of tolerance, understanding and patriotism but they really are the party of unlawfulness, unaccepting and treason.
From the above BBC article
Quote:
|
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said the situation in the city, where a new deployment of federal agents has arrived against the wishes of local officials, was "unsustainable".
|
You have no say in the matter Jake.
Federal trumps (no pun intended) everything.
Quote:
A city mayor has no direct legal authority or vote in federal matters and decisions, as the U.S. Constitution establishes a system where cities are legally subservient to their state governments, and federal powers are separate from local ones. However, mayors can and do use political influence and intergovernmental relations to advocate for their cities' interests at the federal level.
Formal Division of Powers
Federal Supremacy: The U.S. Constitution's Supremacy Clause dictates that federal law is the supreme law of the land in areas where the federal government has been granted power. Mayors cannot pass laws that violate federal or state laws.
State Authority over Cities: The Constitution reserves powers not delegated to the federal government to the states and the people. Cities operate under authority granted by their state governments. This means that for formal governance, a city must typically work through the state level to interact with federal policies or funding.
Separate Branches: Similar to the federal and state governments, city governments have executive (mayor/manager) and legislative (city council) branches, but their jurisdiction is limited to municipal affairs like local services, public safety, and infrastructure

Revenge tour … plain and simple.
And another rant by the OP in support of Trump’s Gestapo.

Yep, attacking a Federal officer with a snow shovel and/or a broom is pretty dumb.
But it's OK...Trump is threatening the Insurrection Act (again).
Soon we'll have DHS, ICE, National Guard and active duty Army troops on the ground in MN.
That'll solve the problem.

Yeah, OP, it was about “Tampon Tim Loving residents” right?
Makes perfect sense in its MAGA eloquence.
I suppose masked unidentifiable storm troopers will to that to a populace. If they were shooting people in Dallas, would you turn the other cheek?
Would you post about all them Abbott-lovers?

It's no fuckery.
They are enforcing and upholding United States Immigration Laws by cracking down on violators, identifying them, arresting them, and deporting them.

They are paid agitators. Not the protesters. ICE.

You pretend they are just doing their jobs. Their methods suck. But that is intentional. Again... ICE Agents are paid agitators.

This is being done to intentionally provoke a response that gives Trump and excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act.
And this is just another POS Troll thread intended to provoke further divisiveness.

….while carrying and portraying themselves as jackbooted, masked Storm Troopers right out of the 1930s style SA troops in Nazi Germany, all while staging events that will be sensationalized in today’s hyper partisan social media environment…….
As opposed to going about their job while building confidence in what they do across the entire political spectrum…..not just the rabid MAGA crowd.
But this is a typical Trump caused issue…….its never about what he wants to accomplish, its how he goes about doing it.
elg….

I thought that Law Enforcement was supposed to encourage de-escalation.
I don’t see a lot of that happening here.

I have never had an issue with producing my government issued ID on the request of any police officer. It has long been stablished that requesting an ID is a legal order that must be complied with.
It is not unlawful to temporarily detain someone for an ID check. There does not need to be a probable cause reason. An ID check may legally be done during any interaction with an LEO.
So what is the big deal in Minneapolis?

No, as in many states - https://www.mnlawyerreferral.org/blo...e-of-minnesota
And, if you're wondering why - https://constitution.congress.gov/co...n/amendment-4/
