Will The DOJ Pay Pretti's Family $4 Million

I mean, after paying the family of an insurrectionist and rioter Babbit, who was clearly breaking the law $4,000,000, surely the DOJ should just go ahead and pay Pretti's family at least that amount. He was not breaking any laws and was shot multiple times by ICE agents.

Or, will, like in the case of Babbit, will the Trump Admin continue to lie regarding what happened in both those situations.

And more so, will idiots on the right and on Fox and on right-wing media keep making totally false claims that somehow Pretti's actions (clearly trying to help someone that ICE assaulted) are some kind of violation of law, while Babbit, who was breaking into the inner portions of the Capitol was lawful on her part.

Yes, they could definitely tell the difference between the cell phone and gun since they interacted with him with the phone in hand and were able to take the gun from its holster rather than his hand.

No matter how you try to make some excuse, it will not hold up, because it was clear what happened. ICE folks just lied and don't want to back away from the lie they started.

Was Babbit placing anyone in immediate danger of receiving death or great bodily hard? Was she armed with a weapon or anything that could be used as a weapon? The answer to those questions is no. It wasn't a justified shooting in fact at the moment that she was supposedly shot she hadn't made it completely through the window and both of her hands were on the frame of the window as she was climbing through. She could have easily been apprehended without any incident. As far as Pretti's shooting that's bullshit too, he was on the ground with several ICE Agents swarming on top of him. Do you really think a trained Law Enforcement Officer is going to fire several shots in that cluster where it's obvious, he doesn't have a clear shot?
