Default If anyone is having a bad day...

If anyone is having a bad day, remember that in 1976 Ronald Wayne sold his 10% stake in Apple for $800. Today it is worth $58,065,210,000.

I shouldn't have sold my shares in Berkshire Hathaway back in 1970, either.

Of course, if he had taken his $800 and bought Microsoft and then sold Microsoft in the mid 90s, bought Dell, then sold Dell at the peak, and sank all of it into Google (founders stock) in late 90s and then sold Google and got back into Apple before it took off with the iPhone and bought founders stock in Facebook, he might be worth $200 billion.

Just sayin.

When Worldcom collapses ten years ago the share price dropped to 12 cents from 80 dollars. I thought about buying a few hundred dollars worth because a company with 20 million customers can't go under that easy. The price got back up to 20 dollars a share before they disappeared into Sprint. That would have been a 16,000 percent increase.
