I think it depends more on the occupation. My boss can't write for shit but he doesn't care. He is brilliant with numbers and that's how he pays the bills... he sent me an email last night that I read at least five times to try to figure out what he wanted. He refuses to use punctuation so it's always just one long sentence with him.

I have a good friend who is an engineer. I had a class with him and he was in my group. He wrote a paper for the group and he asked me to proofread it. He asked me if there were any mistakes. I told him that the only mistake that was made was letting him write the paper. I'm no English major but it was the most fucked up shit I have ever read.

Fred -- he only corrects people who do not have similar views to him. He lets all the mistakes made by you Grumpies go uncorrected.

Thanks Lucas. They really don't get to me at all. In fact I ignore most of the repetitive nonsense they all post numerous times every day. I just consider the source.

I will admit I have been waiting to call the GremlinLover a liar for a while now. He has like 40 some odd thousand total posts but hardly ever posts anything as of late. So I finally saw a glimmer of a chance earlier today and went for it.

I first ventured into this forum early in 2020. Before all this virus crap started. I thought perhaps I could get an idea of the feelings of the general public before this year's election.

I was shocked at the blatant stupidity that I encountered. The first thread I read was about the Chinese tariffs. All the usual suspects were praising H I M for how he was sticking it to China blah blah blah.

Finally one of the knot heads asked "What has Trump ever done that has actually hurt any of you?"

I immediately chimed in to answer that question with "I can tell you that Trump's little tariff war with China has cost my farming operation a significant amount of dollars in each of the last 2 years." The years were 2018 & 2019. I also listed the actual dollar amount in the op but I choose not to do that here. I am a retired corn and soybean farmer and I still do the books for the family that is buying out my operation, so yes I do know what I am talking about here.

Immediately the flood gates open and all the usual suspects start blasting the hell out of me. The SubaruLover immediately calls me a liar, Obbie the Wonder Dog calls me a Marxist Lib Dem and several other of the usual Trumpies are coming up with their typical ridiculous arguments about how this is all Obama's fault, it is all fake news and trying to tell me how much have the Dims cost me over the last 2 years. All they did by attacking me with all this crap is to insure I will be a frequent contributor to this forum all the way till the November election.

As I said before, I was shocked by the blatant stupidity I encountered at that time. I still have trouble believing their stupidity and ridiculousness, but at least I expect it now and am not shocked by it anymore.

But here's something for you to look forward to TrumpTards. In less than a month after he loses the election, I can't really see myself venturing back into this forum very often.
