IB, you weren't misinformed. I just tried to let the morons know that there are reasons to dislike Obama, which they fail to recognize. He broke almost every campaign promise, but they still drink his Kool-Aid. And so what if there are people determined to make Obama a one-term President. Every president has had people opposed to him from the beginning of their term. These Obamazombies are delusional.

Chist, how many times do I have to ask?

WHAT IS KOOL-AID?

Here’s a cute little video, that is a compilation of his speeches / debates throughout his campaign, of the Anointed One promising to begin getting out of Iraq as his first act if elected. He said by March 31st of 08 or Day One of office, and then over and over again through out the video.

The reason we are getting out NOW is because it is campaign season for Candidate Obama. When he was supposed to be a senator, he was an author and a presidential candidate. When he was supposed to be president, he wasn’t a president. He was get-elected-to-a-second-term presidential candidate. He’s an asshole that waits to see which way the wind is blowing and then holds his hand up and says “Me too”, and then proceeds to fleece his flock into thinking it was his idea the whole time.

2. So far, we've averted the biggest depression since 1929 despite what obstructionist racist, Teapartiers have tried to do. Unsubstantiated and you have nothing but "guesstimations" to support your claim. Your ad hominem statement shows you for the racist you are. You don't read economic sources, do you, moron?

Please, please, please get off the “everyone’s a racist” schtick that isn’t either black or an Obama follower. Frankly, it makes YOU sound racist.

Who knows if we have survived a depression yet or not. Nothing real is going to happen until the Presidential election and the EZ situation is settled.

3. We've got a start on a health care system (albeit not a perfect one) that will prevent insurers from claiming that "life" is a "pre-existing condition". Far from perfect, and Obama, et al, lied about how much it will cost - it will be unsustainable. LMAO! The "OLD" insurance systyem WAS sustainable? LMAO They were hiking premiums at 15% to 40% per YEAR - THAT is unsustainable, moron!

Obamacare is an abortion of a bill. It takes the cost of insuring people (poor, working, middle, upper-middle and upper classes) from the people and places the burden firmly on the backs of the people. It changed nothing except now if you don’t have insurance because you can’t afford it, the federal government is going to fine you. Wake up! There’s a reason it’s in the courts and will never see the light of day.

4. We have recognized and begun to prove that "Corporate Welfare" makes social security and food stamps look like small potatoes.Seriously? Obama is giving corporations public money hand over fist and then he lets those corporations charge Americans for the privilege of using and losing their money. Obama is an insider on crony capitalism, but you're too drunk on the Kool Aid to see it. Did you just MISS the multi-billion dollar derivative scam Brooksley Born warned about or are you just as DUMB as you sound?

Please, he is a cats paw to a Greek (I've been corrected - Hungarian) billionaire, and he, like every other scumbag politician, gives money back to his supporters. If the merger between Continental and United was an anti-trust problem during the previous administrations, it is an anti-trust problem during the Obama administration. It’s just that, now, the jobs are leaving a state he’ll never carry to his “home” state.

5. We got Bin Laden and 21 others out of the top 30 most wanted terrorists.Truman got Hitler and Tojo, but you and Obama think Obama is better. Yeah right. Obama? Bush's un-financed and unnecessary wars along with his penchant for deregulation (besides Wall Street and the Banksters remember Enron, et al?) caused a much more dangerous event - you know not to bring up Bush whose biggest accomplishment was cutting brush in Crawford, setting the vacation days record and being the first President to almost choke to death on a pretzel.

Somebody already said it. HE didn’t do anything but say yes. The whole world has been looking for an extremely tall Saudi, that lives in caves, is yellow from jaundice and is hooked up to a dialysis machine. Obama’s just the lucky president to get to give the all-go order. If THIS is a success for Obama, than the leftover failures of the Bush administration are his too – especially since he carried on with almost all of Bush’s large policies: Iraq / Afghanistan and bailouts for failure companies

6. We found out that the CRA and Fannie and Freddie played minor parts in the mortgage collapse and the deregulated financial sectors of Banking and Wall Street burst the bubble with phony derivatives and internally-falsified mortgage applications. Countrywide Mortgage was Democrat crony capitalism personified! And Clinton, Dodd, Franks, Rubin and Summers all had a hand in the deregulation! Now suck on that and say it tastes like a Tootsie Roll. Who falsified the mortgage applications? Certainly not Dodd or Frank and neither did the CRA say that institutions had to loan ANY money to deadbeats or poor credit risks. The CRA was passed in 1979 and it took this long to burst the mortgage bubble? LMAO at your stupidity. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/warning/view/ Go watch the link and educate yourself! AIG and Countrywide used worthless and badly-modeled derivatives to replace the more strictly regulated "mortgage default insurance" policies that were scrutinized by insurance commissioners all across the country and by experienced actuaries.

The deregulation that lead to the housing bubble and financial meltdown was under the Clinton administration.

That vacation record was broken a long time ago by Obama. Obama was given a gun that was already aimed at the target. All he had to do with squeeze the trigger and Bin Laden was dead. It was Bush, Cheney, Rice, and Petraeous who loaded and aimed the gun. Give real credit where credit is due and maybe someday Obama will do something really impressive and then he will get credit. It is funny that everything is Bush's fault but if something good happens then it is Obama's success.

Wrong again.
You aren't even in the parking lot of the ball park.

Obama has only been in office 55 days (1075 days) more than Bush took for vacation over both terms. Bush spent 1020 days at, on the way to, or the way back, Crawford (490 days), Camp David (487 days), and his parent's house (43 days). More than 1/3 of his total time in office.

Aren't links great?

Aimed at the target for 2 1/2 years without taking the shot? On a target that may get intel, from the government that is supposed to be our ally, the net is closing at any time?

Sorry Charlie.

Truman started the CIA, does he get credit for bin laden?
Reagan got credit for recovering the hostages from Iran on the day of his inauguration.

No one said Jimmy Carter did all the work that freed them. They said they were released during Reagan's term. 6 hours into it. That's the way it has always worked.
Did Bush, Cheney, and Rice stay up late analyzing raw data? Did they work out the logistics? No, they approved and authorized other people's work.

Plus a lot changes in the wide world of terrorism in 2 1/2 years.

Reagan got full credit for the Iranian Embassy hostages being released. 6 hours into his presidency. He didn't even say yes. Truman was President less than a month when Germany surrendered. He didn't have anything to do with nuking Japan other than saying "yes". He gets credit for being the President who won the war. One word can be pretty powerful.

That's what the CEO/President does by the way. They say yes. And they get the glory for a success or take the heat for a failure. The chief executive executes the game plan by saying "Yes" or "No".
What do you think Bush actually did himself other than say "Get bin Laden"? He approved the plans and operations conceived by experts in those fields.

This happened 2 1/2 years after Bush's term. The intel that gave the location, strength of opposing forces etc came on his watch. He gave credit to all the players including Bush and gang. He still gets the biggest piece.

For Num. 6

So who is to blame? There’s plenty of blame to go around, and it doesn’t fasten only on one party or even mainly on what Washington did or didn’t do. As The Economist magazine noted recently, the problem is one of "layered irresponsibility … with hard-working homeowners and billionaire villains each playing a role." Here’s a partial list of those alleged to be at fault:
  • The Federal Reserve, which slashed interest rates after the dot-com bubble burst, making credit cheap.
  • Home buyers, who took advantage of easy credit to bid up the prices of homes excessively.
  • Congress, which continues to support a mortgage tax deduction that gives consumers a tax incentive to buy more expensive houses.
  • Real estate agents, most of whom work for the sellers rather than the buyers and who earned higher commissions from selling more expensive homes.
  • The Clinton administration, which pushed for less stringent credit and downpayment requirements for working- and middle-class families.
  • Mortgage brokers, who offered less-credit-worthy home buyers subprime, adjustable rate loans with low initial payments, but exploding interest rates.
  • Former Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan, who in 2004, near the peak of the housing bubble, encouraged Americans to take out adjustable rate mortgages.
  • Wall Street firms, who paid too little attention to the quality of the risky loans that they bundled into Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), and issued bonds using those securities as collateral.
  • The Bush administration, which failed to provide needed government oversight of the increasingly dicey mortgage-backed securities market.
  • An obscure accounting rule called mark-to-market, which can have the paradoxical result of making assets be worth less on paper than they are in reality during times of panic.
  • Collective delusion, or a belief on the part of all parties that home prices would keep rising forever, no matter how high or how fast they had already gone up.
The U.S. economy is enormously complicated. Screwing it up takes a great deal of cooperation. Claiming that a single piece of legislation was responsible for (or could have averted) the crisis is just political grandstanding. We have no advice to offer on how best to solve the financial crisis. But these sorts of partisan caricatures can only make the task more difficult.

The irony will be lost on these folks...

Look Munch, no amount of facts nor logic will help these folks. They are as bad as the Bush haters they detest. The best you can do is shake your head at them and say , "Bless their hearts...". Or you can do like me and make fun of their ignorance. They hate it and I get a kick out of it.

When I gave Cutiepie some facts where Reagan's campaign coordinator admitted to using the so called Southern Strategy, he said he did not trust the AP as a source. Now I can see how the President of Iran can deny the holocaust happened. They all are in denial. This group reminds me of the kids that ignores the facts by stomping on the ground with his/her finger in their ears!

So while I wish you more luck than I had teaching this group of righties the difference between fact and opinion, history is not on your side!

Oh and they also will deny that Reagan did not promise to sale arms to Iran and then follow through!

Ronald Reagan was a great President for one reason only. He believed in his vision of America, a conservative view. Remember, Ronnie was a Demmycrat for many years. As Governor of California when told by an aide if he raised taxes he wouldn't get re-elected. He told his aide he wasn't there to get re-elected. He did, however in a landslide just as he did for his second term as President. Reagan was willing to compromise but would not bend to his core vision, to the former Sovier Union nor to his political opponents.

Big Louie and Little Stevie, this is for you, remember Ronnie wanted a great America for you liberals too! what a guy.

Ronald Reagan was a great President because he belived in America.
