Claimed the surgical mask on her first slide was what was being used in hospitals to protect both healthcare workers and patients. WRONG, N95 masks, not surgical masks are used to protect against breathing IN the virus. She then goes on to show a drywall worker not protected from dust by that surgical mask. Again WRONG. She should have tried to demonstrate drywall dust EXHALED by the worker passing through the mask. It's absolutely amazing that people don't understand, or more troubling, conveniently forget the purpose and use of different mask types. Surgical and home made masks are used to prevent YOUR snot from reaching OTHERS.

She had it backwards from the beginning, so I stopped there. QUACK

O I C, a mere surgeon with years of experience dealing in sterile environments with a variety of patients. And by trade you are a what, exactly? Might be a great Surgeon, but as I logically pointed out, she clearly doesn't understand the topic she was addressing. Most of us wouldn't go to a dermatologist if we need brain surgery. As to my credentials, this is the damn internet so I could make up anything I wish. Let's just say that it seems my qualifications are better than yours; I'm called out yours and others "mistaken" understanding of mask principles more than once. I don't argue the unfortunate politics of mask wearing, but I do point out fallacies of intended usage. And, I do generally try to do so respectfully.
