Actually the only time I would search out a post of yours is when I'm having trouble sleeping or when I need a good laugh. Other then that I just come across your post when you are insulting or attacking one of us in a thread. I agree with what Whispers said that you need us to keep you relevant and remind some guys that you are still around so they can throw some pitty cash your way. The only thing that keeps me from getting hard are 50 year old chicks in the club or in my bed room. Other then that the 20+ year old ladies I see have no complaints and neither do I. I'm going to take the risk of engaging in this thread not as a moderator (as a moderator I wish everyone involved including myself would take ten steps back and go get laid) but as, ironically enough, Ivory's ideal customer.

I think I can say this fairly conclusively, as anyone who has gone to clubs with me (including Whispers and including some of the women who post here) would attest:

- I'm extremely generous (entertainment budget for the evening is always in the excess of $$, sometimes $$$$-$$$$$$)
- I'm low-pressure and respectful - not trying to get 'action' in the club (if I want action, I have a contact list of providers who will provide exactly that), just there to be spoiled and enjoy pleasant company, and I understand fully that if the woman is comfortable I will be as well
- I enjoy the company of mature women, especially ones with strong opinions (one night in YR was spent arguing vehemently the benefits of single-payer medical insurance with a Ukrainian immigrant dancer)

So, you'd think I would be one of the people beating down a path to her door after her (wo)manfully standing up to the evil Whispypoo and the Wolfpack, right?

Well, not really. One of the things I look for in clubs is artifice. I don't want to be reminded that I'm a middle-aged overweight schlub who needs to buy working girls drinks to be paid attention to. And from every post Ivory makes, I get the very strong impression that to establish that level of artifice, it would take a level of acting ability that would make Meryl Streep take two steps back and exclaim "You GO, girlfriend." I'm sure she is an excellent and experienced dancer who knows exactly how to distract men. I just don't think, given the level of venom consistently on display, that I would ever be able to be distracted any more.
