KABOOOM! PINOCHOS IS THE SHIZZLE! My background is 100% Mexican, so I've had some of the most authentic Mexican food known to man. Lol! True though, moms, aunts, and older sisters.... let me tell you ... PINOCHOS is hands down the best, and the closest to authentic Mexican food I've ever had at a restaurant. I've been to many of the places mentioned, not all, and this place is amazing. I've been eating there for almost 30 years....seriously. It has never grown. Still the same tiny little hole in the wall. You can easily pass this place if you're not paying attention. I've had salsa from other places, trust me, their salsa is authentic. It's not watery picante sauce. Lol! Corner of Columbia and Caroll in east Dallas. Has a picture of Pinocchio on the window. It's also open till 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. Gets packed.
As far as burgers: Burger Island- Abrams and W Walnut. Close to 635/75 area. (Add jalapenos...uuuwwee!)
