Cauasian is a classification of race. White is a vague classification of ethnicity. So you can have white caucasaisn, mediterranean (olive) caucasians, hispanic causacians, north african caucasians, etc. etc.
It is for this reason US census asks about both race and ethinicity.
Eccie creates confusion by only have a single classification scheme.
Wakeup exploits this flaw to the full.

I think Wakeup bumped this so those who incorrectly use the term 'mixed' can be educated 
I remember, many years ago, my kids were playing on swings in the park, and some other kids came up and asked them 'are you half caste'? I educated them that the term 'half caste' was derogatory, and the correct term was 'mixed', because they are mixed negroid and caucasian.
They looked at me like some crazy white guy, but somebody has to teach the ignorant.
