You know, I got to thincking about this. I do that sometimes in moments of chemically induced clarity due to dealing with morally superior tricktards...sometimes. I also have been known to be completely wrong.

Anyway, I got to thincking, The NCAA deals with athletics. I didn't know debate team members were athletes.
Went to the NCAA site. They don't list one of their sports as debate.

That got me to wondering, since I honestly didn't participate on any of my university's 'debate teams, who sponsors those things.

A quick google search brought up Yale's debate team website. Interesting information there. They've won a lot of national debate championships over the years as you might expect. Not one of them were NCAA although Yale athletics are governed by the NCAA.

Looks like there is a governing body for university debate teams, It's called the USUDA or US University Debate Association. Wouldn't you thinck a university debate team captain would know the difference between the USUDA and the NCAA?

A quick check of some random schools Harvard, Stanford, Ohio State and Texas tech all confirmed the governing association of their debate teams were the same as Yale's

Now, I guess it's possible the NCAA sanctioned some kind of debate team prior to 1981( the date the USUDA was established) but I can't find any thing that says so in my limited search. However, if a fucktard participated before then he would be well over 50.

Starting to not pass the smell test...ijs
