I served on a jury once for a fraud case. It was an interesting experience. At the deliberation, one of the alternates said the defendant must be guilty because the police don’t arrest innocent people. That has stuck with me ever since. The verdict was unanimous for acquittal. The guy still had all the expenses and six years of his life taken between the arrest and the acquittal. He won, but he sure lost a lot in the process

Here is the problem with stories like this: Because the law is so slanted towards the accuser (usually someone just trying to make a quick buck), that a person out of the blue can accuse you of something felonious, and you would be dragged through the mud, lose lots of things (pride, money for legal fees, ect.) but you are innocent, however, you have been ruined. Celebs or folks with higher stature usually will just settle even if they have done nothing wrong as apposed paying the higher legal fees and time going to court.

Same thing when a girl cries rape/sexual harassment. A female at you office can accuse you of that, even if you are 100% innocent, never said 2 word to her, you will lose your job, be sued, lose your house, legal fees, time in jail, have a label on your forehead and an outcast, but when the accusations are proven false, damage is already done, you still have no job, no house, no money and your life is over. Of course, she out nor receives nothing for the false accusation.

I saw the Court papers filed against Dylan. a Witness reported hearing him bark ''Lay Lady Lay'', then allegedly observed a ''Blonde on Blonde''. Which is rubbish, Dylan has never had blonde hair.

But yeah, I'm sure the charge against Dylan will occupy a space in my thoughts, when ever his name is mentioned from now on. Even as I intellectually know the charge is Horseshit.
