Important Context Regarding Dual Citizens in Government:
No Prohibition:The U.S. Constitution does not prohibit dual citizens from serving in Congress or the Judiciary, provided they meet age and residency requirements.
Allegiance:U.S. law allows dual nationality and does not require citizens to choose, but naturalized citizens often retain original citizenship unless they formally renounce it.

“Should be” See what I did there?
The drafters of that document didn’t foresee modern leftist white guilt and its desire to forfeit the country. If ever there were a need for a constitutional amendment, it’s now.

The useful idiots of the left refuse to look at history.
Look at Iran, Lebanon, etc. to see how inviting incompatible cultures to your own country can work out. Unable to forward think and conclude what could happen if current trends continue.
It’s really a great idea, have the taxpayer support incompatible cultures to immigrate, so they can provide their 3rd world views, that have never worked to the success of the people, in government and beyond.
What a winning formula.

Nice to see you support racism when it suits you.
All you’ve done is deflect and justify Mamdani’s wife’s post using a racial slur. You could have simply said “that was wrong and I don’t support that”.
A bridge too far…..

That kind of language is wrong and I don’t support that. But that’s not my argument. My argument is that vilifying a person for the language they used in their teens is overkill.
Just like a number of men were vilified because their past behavior was considered too egregious during the height of the MeToo movement. (Take Al Franken for example). Someone’s past internet history needs to be forgiven or possibly forgotten unless it’s also their current behavior.
The right wing conservatives out there want to make this a thing instead of seeing it for what it is. A regrettable mistake that a young woman made on social media.
Get over it.

Overkill? I’d call it stupidity.
And hypocritical.

Lol. Another Constitutional amendment for trump to wipe his ass with? Why bother? He hasn't followed any of the amendments that were already there. He won't follow any new ones, either.

There it is again. Zero sense of irony or shame.
For a Mega to make this accusation is just wild. Anyone who voted for the felon to run our country has no business talking about anyone else's perceived racism.

We all get it.
You support racism vs holding one of your far left wackadoodle political favorites wife accountable. Not a criticism or negative thing to say about it, but only a deflection.
Noted.

The left cries racism every chance they get and especially when things aren’t racist, but the left isn’t getting their way. It’s your trump card that has lost its meaning bc it’s been overplayed.
The double standard is beyond belief.

I don’t know who the “LEFT” is in your statement but it’s not me because the only person in politics who I describe as a racist is Trump himself. I say it because of the way he talks about migrants.
You seem to want to turn this into some kind of tit for tat thing but that’s a bullshit argument. It seems to me that your efforts are nothing more than an opportunity to insult and discredit Mamdani and his wife over a few indiscreet comments and “likes” on social media from when she was a teenager.
As far as I am concerned that just makes you a bully and a troll. An anonymous one at that.

Why are you defending her? We should be hearing from Rama Duwaji, not you. All she needs to do is publicly say those social media likes and posts were youthful indiscretions that do not reflect her current thinking. Pretty simple.
To my knowledge, she hasn't done that. So it's perfectly appropriate for the public to assume she still applauds the October 7th Hamas massacre (which occurred when she was 24, hardly a teenager) and thinks it's ok to use the n-word freely on social media.
Why do you insist the public (not just conservatives) should "get over it" - when the woman herself won't put this behind her by apologizing and disowning it?

I’m not defending her specifically I’m trying to put this incident into perspective. Ginning up hard feelings around this issue does nothing but cause people’s anger to escalate over a minor incident. It’s to everyone’s best interest to just let this go.
As far as producing an apology or statement I would bet that her husband has advised her not to answer questions about it.
