Newly released Epstein files reveal a 2018 text exchange where the idea of having the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) withdraw its longstanding memo prohibiting the indictment of a sitting president is discussed. Epstein compares it directly to how Bush-era OLC memos on torture were later rescinded by Steven Bradbury in 2009, stating: "To remove the prohibition on indicting a sitting president... would be exactly the same as withdrawing the opinion on torture."

Epstein jokes about "Yoo memos" (referring to John Yoo's infamous torture authorizations).

Epstein pushes further, noting Rosenstein can do the same, echoing how OLC opinions on executive power in the War on Terror were overridden.

This brainstorming session happened post-Bannon's White House exit after being ousted, during his feud with Trump—suggesting an effort to strip away the immunity shield from President Trump amid the Mueller investigation.

For those asking why Trump pretends not to care about Epstein, the answer is the Streisand Effect.

The Dems/MSM wouldn’t touch the Epstein story with a 40 foot pole for decades, so we had to bait the Left into caring about Epstein.

We had to dangle the Trump carrot, and the Left took the bait, hook, line, and sinker. The only way to get the Left to pay attention to Epstein, or any scandal for that matter, is if they think it can help them damage Trump. So we let them believe Epstein was about Trump.

It was also important for a matter of optics. If Trump just released all this info right away and was demanding it come out, the Left would have claimed it was politically motivated, fake, doctored, etc., they simply would have refused to believe it, and the MSM would have refused to report on it. In order to mitigate this, Trump had to seem uninterested and get the Left to beg for it first. Trump tricked the Left into demanding the Epstein files, so when the truth eventually came out, they couldn’t dismiss it or ignore it as easily. They are all on record demanding the Epstein files for months.

The Left have become predictable with their TDS, so Trump weaponized it against them. He made it seem like he didn’t want the Epstein files to come out, because he knew this would make the Left want to look into the Epstein files.

Trump intentionally invoked the Streisand Effect to his advantage, aka, reverse psychology. The oldest trick in the book.

In addition to the facts, we have a logical argument that no one has ever been able to refute.

If Trump was implicated with Epstein, the Dems would not have needed to concoct the Russia hoax or any of the other lies about Trump.

If Trump was implicated, why didn’t the Dems mention Epstein a single time before 2016, 2020, during Biden’s term when they had control, or 2024? Why did they have to try to indict Trump for process crimes, the phony documents raid, and other nonsense?

Mueller looked under every single stone, investigated every person Trump ever came in contact with, and was looking for a reason to slap something on Trump. He found nothing. Trump is literally the single most vetted person in history.

If there was ever anything about Trump, the Dems would have released it before Trump won 2016, but there was never anything about Trump, hence why they had to make shit up.

The reason why the Democrat elite never brought up Epstein, is because Epstein was part of the Democrat elite, which is confirmed via Epstein’s email history. The Dems never wanted to bring any attention to Epstein, but Trump did before the 2016 election.

If Trump was implicated in crimes with Epstein, why would Trump bring up Epstein and Bill’s time on the island?

It’s a simple matter of logic that cannot be refuted. If there was ever any dirt on Trump, Obama’s cronies like Comey and Brennan would have leaked it, and Epstein never would have been covered up in the first place.

His explanations keep shifting. From what he knew to what he was willing to say publicly vs privately. From what he fell out with him over to why he kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago. Donald Trump's FBI scraped these documents in March, and the thing that they took out were survivors' statements to FBI agents about rich and powerful men who raped them or committed heinous acts.

And then those documents from the FBI were sent to the Department of Justice in a redacted form. They were already scrubbed. We need those documents to be unscrubbed. That's what the American people want to know. All of the rich and powerful men, many of them who raped these girls, are in those FBI statements, and those statements are still redacted.

But the names that I read were listed as co-conspirators on documents. And the reality is, the Justice Department acknowledged that their identities should not have been redacted.

As for Maxwell, he had no problem calling her evil on the call but in public years later he claims he barely knew her, that they never really interacted and that he wished her well.
