From this and the other stories posted on Wikipedia sounds like he was a douche...sorry even in death doesn't make you innocent for being an asshole in life.

Confrontation with "Occupy" CPAC protesters

At the Conservative Political Action Conference convention in Washington, D.C., on February 10, 2012, a belligerent Breitbart was captured on video walking with a glass of wine, screaming a diatribe at protesters, including repeatedly calling them "filthy freaks" and "murderers," demanding that they "stop raping the people." He was restrained by convention hotel security, resisting as they physically pushed him away from the demonstration

Opinions are like assholes....everyone has one....and often they are full of shit....

* IMHO this guy made his living off the misery of others. That makes him lower than whale shit...

*Would you still be mourning him...if he was on your personal trail trying to expose your personal sins?

GQ -- what racism in the tea party movement? For all the efforts the media spent trying to uncover racism they were mostly unsuccessful. Not to say they weren't any racists among tea partiers but every movement has their fringe. I went to a few tea party rallies and there were people of all races there and I never once heard race mention. Most of the commentary was on the policies of Reid, Pelosi and Obama. In fact there was just as much frustration, if not more, with Reid and Pelosi than there was with Obama.

As far as Breitbart he did some good things with his exposure of Acorn but the Sherrod episode was badly handled.

I for one do not share Collegegirlforyou’s views or love for this man at all, but I respect her feelings the same. The main reason I don’t share her view is because despite the crazy rehetoric on both (the right and the left sides at times) , this man (as with Limbaugh) on many occassions crossed the line. CG4U, I don't buy your argument at all, but it's your’s to have and I respect it as I stated prior. Lets remember one thing, we all have a right to our opinions, but to our own facts. Let me ask you; Why do we not call these people or anyone for that matter, what they are or represented in life or death?
With all the evil that this man has done (or anyone) or fostered out of hate and lies (which if you do the research is factual) deserves what comes his/her way. Some may say, George Wallace and Breibart are one of the same, plagues on humanity and let's not ever forget that. Lets not forget this fact, this is the same man who relished in the racism in the tea party movement and as Rjdiner referrenced to facts regarding the Shirley Sherrod incident and his comments after the death of Ted Kennedy are just a few of many tasteless acts he was the author of.
· Some may even look at this as an errie case of "what goes around comes around. Remember Lee Atwater was responsible for the unequivocally dishonest and racist Willie Horton commercial in 1988 that "took down" Michael Dukakis as the Democratic Presidential candidate.
Mr Atwater died at age 39 of brain cancer.

At the end of the day, I say this; at 43 you have to feel for his family as a human being, lets keep that in mind and at the same time never forget our principles even when discussing people that had obvisoulsy none.</SPAN>
In closing, I for for one can understand why some may miss him and some will not miss him. As for me and my priciples and educating myself on the facts and not just emotions or political affliations, after the ugliness and hatred he has spread, I say this is not much of a loss to anyone but his family, but who am I for God will judge him now. But I will say this I will not miss him one bit!

Shortfatbald,
Are you serious asking that question? Using the "N" work regarding the president at those rallies that are caught on tape, posters with the President as Hitler, spitting on US Black Congressman calling them the "N" word, naw your right that's not racist! Like I said prior google, read Harvard review and other news pieces. That's the problem today, our electorate are not educating themsleves. I have no issues with people supporting whom they choose, but when it is based on hate which is what most of this crap is our whole nation begins to suffer. Time to wake up and educate the masses then we all will be able to make a better decision. OMG, the tea party isn't racist? I had my good laugh for the day!

Oh shit! Here we go with the basing sweeping accusations upon the actions of a few. GQ, wasn't the spitting on the congressman found to be completely unsubstantiated and unproven? In fact, I recall Andrew Breitbart offering a $100,000.00 reward for proof of the incident which, as of yet, as gone unclaimed! It's ironic you would bring up that incident in this thread. If you have proof, you should go claim the reward! That's a lot of hobbying money to blow! In fact, the man detained from the incident (he was never even arrested, much less charged!) was let go because of a lack of evidence.

While we're on the subject, I think Democrats are the most insensitive group of assholes in the world! Yes, the entire Democratic party. Why, you ask? Just look at these photos of these evil Democrats at their evil, racist rallies! Where is your outcry and disgust for this party platform built on hate?

I mean, isn't the premise of your bullshit comment cemented in the idea of debasing and slandering an entire group based upon the (possibly fabricated) actions of a few? I kind of like this petty style of arguing. It's much more convenient then relying upon facts and data!

Marcus78,
PLEASE!!! Are you serious or worse? First let me say portraying President Bush as that is no way right at all lets get this clear. How ever let me tell you, portraying an African American as that or Nazi has many inflamatory historical significance. If you knew history you wouldn't have made that a point of your debate at all. Second, why is it Democrats sensitive. I for one am not a Democrat, but an American, One who has served this great country 26 years. So I feel due to the holes I've had in my body, the surgeries, time missed to my children, and the many friends lost, I can't stand by nor will I when I see this nonsense of blantant RACIST CRAP. I don't care if it comes from Misniter Farakhan, Billy Graham or you, its wrong not to acknowledge it and call it what it is. Show me your birth certificate, "you lie" as they say on ESPN, "COME ON MAN"! Here are a few things for you to marinade on. Look I feel this great nation has so much to offer, but for everyone!!!

Tea Party Express' Racist Letter

—By Titania Kumeh

Wow, Tea Party Express! What better way to defend your stale astroturf movement against charges of racism than by writing a racist letter to the... National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. The letter excerpted below is from Tea Party Express spokesperson Mark Williams, who wrote it in response to the NAACP's recent resolution to condemn the party's racist antics. After the NAACP passed the measure on Tuesday, Williams told CNN "I am disinclined to take lectures on racial sensitivity from a group that insists on calling black people, 'Colored.'"
I read Williams's letter. And after calming my visceral aversion to its blatant bigotry which almost stopped me from writing about it, all I can say is... thank you Mark Williams! Thank you for exposing your organization's true intentions better than any Yes Men parody ever could. The letter has since been removed from Williams' Website, but thanks to Ta-Nehisi Coates from the Atlantic, excerpts from it appear below. You can read it in its entirety here:
Dear Mr. Lincoln
We Coloreds have taken a vote and decided that we don't cotton to that whole emancipation thing. Freedom means having to work for real, think for ourselves, and take consequences along with the rewards. That is just far too much to ask of us Colored People and we demand that it stop!...
The tea party position to "end the bailouts" for example is just silly. Bailouts are just big money welfare and isn't that what we want all Coloreds to strive for? What kind of racist would want to end big money welfare? What they need to do is start handing the bail outs directly to us coloreds! Of course, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is the only responsible party that should be granted the right to disperse the funds.
And the ridiculous idea of "reduce[ing] the size and intrusiveness of government." What kind of massa would ever not want to control my life? As Coloreds we must have somebody care for us otherwise we would be on our own, have to think for ourselves and make decisions!
Perhaps the most racist point of all in the tea parties is their demand that government "stop raising our taxes." That is outrageous! How will we coloreds ever get a wide screen TV in every room if non-coloreds get to keep what they earn? Totally racist!...
UPDATE: On Sunday, the National Tea Party Federation expelled Tea Party Express and Mark Williams "because of the letter that he wrote which he, I guess, may have considered satire but which was clearly offensive,” Federation spokesperson David Webb told CBS. That same day, NAACP president Ben Jealous issued a statement calling on Sarah Palin and Dick Armey to now denounce tea party racism. The NAACP has received death threats and hate mail in the wake of its resolution. It has published a slideshow of offensive tea party signs which you can view here.

Ok, I am reading all these post and please explain to my why post 22 and 24 are off subject when post 18 asks a question which solicts a response in post 22. Post 23 answers to post 22. Post 24 then responds to post 23. All steming from opinions from post 1-18 which discuss feelings about this man Breitbart. (I can hear the gong of the law and order show now, dong dong)

Now it seems to me all the threds are opinions regarding this man and one thing is certian, he's had one heck of an impact one way or another on all that's written here. Wow this thred needs to be a topic on HBO, FOX, MSNBC, CNN or somewhere. Interesting for sure, and this comes from a guy who's reading constitutional law books on a daily basis and learning mandarin.
Love and peace to all!

GQR, You boast of being factual and then blunder into a factually moronic comparison.

With all the evil that this man has done (or anyone) or fostered out of hate and lies (which if you do the research is factual) deserves what comes his/her way. Some may say, George Wallace and Breibart are one of the same

You do know ( from all your research and self education ) George Wallace was a Democrat and Breitbart a Republican so hardly the same as I learned on Sesame Street one of these things is not like the other .

Also, have you informed yourself that the first to bring up the issue of Willie Horton was actually Al Gore during a debate at the Felt Forum sponsored by the New York Daily News?

CG4U, I concur and the vetting begins

Yes, Breitbart was a favorite of mine. He stood up against the fascists lining up to smear the Tea Party as racist. His offer of a $100,000 reward to anyone who had proof of anything racist on the part of the Tea Party during the big Obamacare protest in DC remains uncollected to this day.

You go Collegegirl!
