That is not the US....that would be oil companies .

You seem to be confused on how the market works and who owns the companies. The state , unlike in many countries , does not own our oil companies.

I've explained to you in both threads what is really happening....I pointed out that low oil prices hurt oil companies in this country.

Low oil prices used to really help this country but not so much as it used to because we now produce so much oil.

In a free enterprise market, an increase in volume sales can offset manageable losses in per unit sales. So, it's a boon to be a net oil exporter even when prices are relatively low.
