*shrugs* I don't tout being an Ivy League educated member of MENSA or anything. But...I've had my share of guys when booking with me compliment that I sound "smart". So...I think if a guy wants an extended date etc he'd want to meet with someone who at least gives off that she can string a couple of coherent sentences together on a few subjects that are non-hobby related.
You don't exactly have to be able to discuss the different Psychology Schools of Thought but yeah know a little more than the latest emoji the Kardashian clan has put out or whoever the hell Lil' Yachty is.... or whatever . **seriously though who the f*** is Lil' Yachty**.

Or is gagging over Queen Bey's performance on the CMAs last night?!) The biggest hurdle I encounter is the extent to which I am introverted. For most of my life, I've preferred conversation with depth to chit chat. So the length of a date may determine how much I talk.

I hear you...I can't tell you how much I'd rather talk D&D or board games or Gotham, or Star Wars Rebels, or how I can't wait for Comic Con. I'm a proud geek, but get it isn't everybody's cup of tea. Thus, I can discuss pretty much anything. Or at least nod semi knowingly as you talk about whatever your particular favorite topic is. Usually.

(Clears throat)... I did hangout with the unpopular kids in high school and D&D was our life's blood. My favorite twitter follow is Neil Degrasse Tyson. And my favorite TV to watch is anything sci-fi, no matter how absolutely bad it might be. Seriously, when everyone else has given up on the TV, I am usually still utterly enthralled.

Um, hello...
There are over a dozen sci-fi titles in my library. Butler and Delany are my faves.

Usually I like minimal conversation. Being educated and having conversation is great, if you have more than an hour. My accent has me repeating myself 2-3 times before I'm understood.
