I disagree with the OP. The vaccines were about preventing death. It's the unvacinnated who are clogging up the hospitals and dying, not the vaccinated.

In the USA 140 million people have been vaccinated. There has been 2000 breakthrough deaths. Your chances of survival are much better with the vaccine. Even if you are double vaccinated if you test positive for CoVid ask your doctor for the Regeneron antibodies. That's what the Govenor of Texas did. LOL. He was able to leave the hospital ICU in a couple of days.

There are a lot of areas in the USA that don't have internet service. That is why Senator Mitch "the turtle" McConnell and some other republican senators had lunch with sleepy Joe to cut a deal for a 1.5 Trillion by-partisan infrastructure plan. Fix the roads, brides and put in internet where there isn't any. In other words this is the infrastructure deal the republicans will support.

Fake math. The survival rate for CoVid would not be that high even if the deaths stopped at 675,000 and all 300 million people in the USA got infected.
