The US military has different ideas about "due process". They surely don't put you back into a position of responsibility while awaiting your fate. They don't promote you (like they did Bergdahl) and they don't let you walk around free when the charges could treason. (I will point out this last, I said that the charges COULD BE treason and not the charges ARE treason. We know what the initial charges are now.) To sum up, military due process is not the same as civilian due process.

Yes they did make a decision. They weren't ready to go public with it and Fox beat'em to it and the Army's pissed, so now they are shrugging their shoulders claiming they never made a decision. Besides that you have that little Douche Bag Ben Rhodes sticking his two cents into this story as well.
