From my point of view:

A deal is a done deal. Never give the money back, ever! My Rules anyway. You get your donation upfront and you put it away into a safe place.

The provider wouldn't get her time back if she were to give you back money, then someone would have more money and the other person would be shorthanded.

You don't ever have to stay nor do you ever have to go until your time is up... some do take advantage and try to stay the whole time which is fine considering they paid for the hour...when I mean the whole time I mean over time and they say they have no extra funds. I am not a clock watcher unless I have another date on the way, typically when traveling I run into that problem.

I however have been shorted when I was learning the trades more so than asked to ever give any money back, nor would I.

It would be more proper to say no refunds, I don't discuss this or we can always work something out in the future if things are right between the two of us and is a mutual agreement, I never want someone to leave me unsatisfied as that is what I am here for.

I have had instances when the provider had to cut the session short. In one case, the provider gave me one hour of a planned two hour session. Although it was a special, I paid the regular rate for one hour, but took the rest out of the envelope. On two occasions, with another provider, she cut the session short before we were very far into it. In both cases, she provided full make up sessions at no extra charge.
As far as any other reason for a refund, the consensus seems to be: Not no, but Hell no!

I've had a similar situation. The hobbyist had scheduled 3 hours, but was a little tired after 2... The envelope contained payment for 3 hours, so I returned 1 hour's worth to him. Not a big deal. I don't expect to be paid for time that I'm not there.

That's not exactly a refund. When I hear refund it means someone walks away with nothing. If you booked 3 hours and only stayed 30 minutes then you paid for that 30 minutes. No one is left empty handed. But if you booked 3 hours, stayed 3 hours, then say "I want my money back" then that's a good way to get throat punched (not really but you get the idea).

You pay for the time you're with the provider. No refunds. Adjusted prices are different than refunds.

I've had providers offer to pay me. I always turn that down because I just can't always come running because the kitty purrs.

One of my first experiences in the hobby wasn't the best. The eccie provider was a one and done girl. I was very new and was under the impression that yes I was paying for an hour of time. After my first completion she started gathering her things. We were about 25 minutes into my hour so I asked if the price was discounted. She got offended and said definitely not but if I saw her a couple times msog would be available. I was like, ok, and chalked it up to a lesson learned. Lucky enough the next lady I saw was Mia Maxwell who gave me a hobbication, (thanks Mia!)..... smooth sailing since then......

I did have a provider "force" me to take back part of the donation once because we didn't go the full time of the session. I wasn't going to take it but she said if I didn't it would mysteriously appear in my pocket later. Oh and I will see her again not because of the refund but because the session was great and hey she only wanted to be compensated for the actual time we spent together.

If you schedule an hour, and you choose not to use all your time, you should pay for the whole time. You dont know if the provider turned down a full hour client for your 15 minute self. If she ends it earlier than agreed, she should refund the difference.
