If I was a provider I would want a throw away phone, but as a hobbyist I don't see the point. Now if I was cheating on a wife you would maybe need another phone incase the mistress starts demanding time when it's not her turn.. As an eccie member just keep all that info here. If it's the man you are worried about I wouldn't use a library computer to set your new phone up, as you have to login to use the PC there. Get the cheapest phone at the gas station and dump it monthly. Don't buy anything SMART, just an el cheapo and when you are messaging never use your name or put your address in a text. Now back to the wife there are apps now that hide all kinds of info on your smartphone.

To the OP....if you are that concerned or paranoid, which isn't an all together bad thing, don't use any phone for communication in this sub-culture. Stick wth email and PMs.

However if you do decide to use a phone, be sure to call these girls at least 4-7 times before your appointment or if they don't respond right away when you are nearing the appointed time and send 12-15 texts before and after. They love that!

And honestly, if you guys have SO's that routinely check your phone calls and texts then why the hell are you married and better yet,... Why are you hobbying while married to a person that doesn't trust you?? Going through a partners phone just seems so junior highesh to me. I wouldn't be married to someone I didn't trust. I see why so many guys hobby now. Lol. Of course i understand other reasons for needing discreet phones for hobbying. But legally no phone is safe. Sorry to burst your bubble fellas!

update - samsung SCH-S380C from kroger grocery store $10. 200 min card $40.
phone has a lifetime 3x multipler, so those 200 mins turned into 600 mins.
the service end date is oct 2014 [5 months]. [will get 120 min cards in the future]
plus, there was coupon book w/ promo codes that give you extra mins each month. i got 40 more minutes.

only negatives - slow browser [1x speed] mean difficult to read email, keypad is tight for texting.

Not if you use a credit card, in any transaction related to the phone. Cash is more difficult to trace.

Credit cards can be linked to the phone.
