But, but, but.... it is hard to make the call from my work location and not have all the students hear...or the coworkers in the next cubicle.... or the judge in court. lol

sometimes text is better, but then setting up a meeting takes a bit longer.

I love texting but it gets annoying when you Fuck around with endless texts. I use "swype" texting and speech to text then have auto responses saved in my clipboard so i just open it and click it then hit send. I do think that some are less considerate with texts for sure. Calls ended tonight at 12ish but texts are still coming at 2:42am. It doesn't bother me, I'm on a bartender sleep schedule and on tour, if i was a mom at home that went to bed at normal people hours it would Piss me off.

Love swype! I don't have auto responses saved though my keyboard kinda just remembers what I'm going to say if it's similar to something I've said a bunch so I just keep hitting the words that pop up automatically.
I prefer text because it's just convenient and what I'm use to, plus text is good when I have little ears around which is often, though if a man really wants to talk on the phone beforehand that is fine all he needs to do is ask
I keep my phone on silent overnight so no one wakes me up
Did this before hobbying...when I worked overnights, and people- most especially my retarded mother- KNEW I was trying to sleep in the am, would call all morning and all day long. I was quite grumpy. I started calling her from work at 3am hahahahahahahaha

I love Swype, but sometimes the lexicon seems whack in its decision making. Pisses me off with its word choices. You might want to check out TouchPal if you are ever looking for an alternative. I run it on my tablet & so far it's neck & neck with Swype.

One thing about texting on the hobby phone - I'm so used to Swype on my legit phone that it takes me FOREVER to use T9. 'Nother reason to just call I guess.

A couple other possible reasons..
If she's driving and doesn't want to text..
or paranoia.. A history of text messages needs to be deleted from the phone if you don't want it checked by LE if you run into trouble. A phone conversation only leaves the fact a call was made and not it's content.
