#30 - ECCIE does not, in any way, sponsor or represent social events, meet and greets, or similar activities. On occasion, events may be announced here by our members, however, ECCIE is not associated with or responsible for such events. We are not involved with any related aspects, such as guest selection, screening, or hosting. Should members of our volunteer staff choose to participate in such an event, it should be understood that their personal involvement is of their own choice and responsibility, and in no way connected to their duties here on staff. If you are the host of one of these events, we will allow for ONE "announcement" post to inform the membership, which will be immediately locked to prevent further public discussions regarding the event.

Here is a suggestion....
HankyPanky, there have been some very successful and fun M & Gs in KC in the past and hopefully more can happen in the future. When organized properly, safely and discretely, the events were a lot of fun.
Some areas of Texas seem to have the system for organizing, etc., down pat, so my recommendation is that you research those forums for suggestions and helpful hints so when you do schedule an event for KC, there are fewer critics and more joiners.
I look forward to joining the group and have marked my calendar for next Tuesday as tentative.
Good Luck. Play Safe!

The problem with these usually isn't the venue, it's the guest list:
1. Chick
2. Chick.
3. Cool guy who always posts.
4. Cool guy who never posts.
5. ASSHAT
6. ASSHAT
7. ASSHAT
8. ASSHAT
9. ASSHAT
10. ASSHAT
Who wants to drive "MexiCopter69" home after he's been overserved?

Great I would like a bottle of Veuve Cliquot please!
Simply showing up, a lot of us providers would be like sitting ducks. I can almost bet you that there is a 210% chance that someone who carries an unconcealed gun would be present there too. They live for that shit to be handed to them neatly on a silver platter.
The concept of the Meet and Greet is Awesome!
Sounds super Fun if there were play time mixed in with all the rounds of drinks you are going to spoil us with.
However with that being said, it's a dangerous topic to explore because it opens the doors to a lot of evils that I am sure a lot of us are not wanting to meet face to face with anytime soon.
A lot of men are married making this adventure too risky, and a lot of providers are too easy to spot when grouped together like that. Trust me... We Stand Out! (LOL) I can spot a working girl from a mile away.
Your idea is a great one, it's working out all the kinks that takes all the fun out of it.

I think every time this gets suggested there seems to be a lot of interest but the hurdles quickly become an issue. How to keep it small and manageable is an issue. How to screen the guys. It quickly becomes a lot of work. Then you get all the fucking know-it-all's that just want to sit back and throw grenades instead of making any valuable contribution. These all seem to start out like a stiff cock but then pretty much end in 'whiskey dick'. But hey, Good Luck!! (Damn, when did I become one of the nay-sayers???)

Yeah, that's not going to be conspicuous. A bunch of older guys (sadly, many of us are older, not in shape, balding, whatever) sitting around with a bunch of beautiful young women in a hotel lobby in the middle of the day. Who would be curious about that?
We've done this before, with very mixed results. There is a tendency for things to get out of hand. Not everyone's sense of decorum is the same. A guy might decide to have a date before the M&G, and show up with the lady on his arm. Some of the ladies can get a little flirty, and with alcohol involved that can get really obvious. Other patrons wonder why these beautiful women are hanging out with these geezers, and then there are the questions "Are you all some kind of group? Do you work together?"
We also had some really good meetups. You know what made them successful? One person (a provider, or a guy working very closely with a provider) personally invited 5-6 ladies and 10-15 guys who they knew well. Of those guys invited, maybe half would show up (the ladies were more reliable usually, because it was part of their business). So we had a small group of professional, respectable people sitting around at a couple of tables chatting. That sounds like what you want, HankPanky. You just have to make it happen in a more organized way. It is a lot of work screening people (ask the ladies here). You can't just post "Party at the Sheraton!"; bad things happen when you do that. Very Bad Things.

We should all study history so history doesn't repeat itself.

Say there;
Don't we remember how the M&G ended in Texas? Just how did so many LE know about the M&G. How many people got busted? What happened to the old blog before ECCIE?
How soon some people forget.

Just my opinion but I think there should be a 2 drink limit

What a coincidence...
