I was wrong about the location. It is to install beams for the FM242 flyover, which is sorely needed. Takes forever to exit 45 heading north and turn left on 242. Major artery for the Woodlands and only a single lane left turn.

I took the scenic route from the west side to the woods today, 249 to 149 to 105, pretty uneventful ( no traffic+30 mins to the drive time)

Cept' the friggin retartds on Motorcycles... 75% of them need to keep them in the garage, and just polish them.

I am one of the 25% then. FM149 is a great road for bikers and cyclists. Especially from Montgomery to Richards. Lots of hill and curves. Goes through Sam Houston National Forest. Best time to ride 149 is Sunday morning. Most people are in church or sleeping late. Very little traffic and it was repaved a little over a year ago. Smooth as a baby's butt. l am avoiding it this weekend, though.

If you can get to the turn around lane, go through St. Luke's parking lot and you will emerge at the traffic light on 242. Emergency Room entrance faster.

Go north on 45, exit before Woodlands, get on Gosling Road on west side, take Gosling to 242. Done.

Or go 59 N to 1314, to 242. Done. GPS doesn't always mean Golden Pooty Syndrome!!

I was stuck in that mess yesterday heading north. On my was back though I did some zig zagging through some parking lots and a side road and bypassed all of that mess.
