You should not have to disclose your plans. I would not. A lady has really no business knowing who you are seeing or who you are not seeing, and even if you are hobbying just because she was slow to respond. She should only know about the references you provide.
If you don't want to have a barrage of women you are not seeing contacting your references you can:
1. Provide references only AFTER the provider replies that she is available
2. Immediately after locking something in, contact the latecomers that you are no longer looking at the time
3. Or you can let your references know to expect a bunch of requests
If I was a hobbyist, I personally would go with #1.
I just don't see why you would have to explain your movements to someone you are not even furthering any business relationship with.
