I quit cigarettes about 2 years ago, vaping is what got me off the smokes slowly. You can smoke while vaping, you kind of stair-step down to less and less every week, then you get to a point where you light one up, it tastes like crap and you never pick one up again. After about 6 months of vaping I was completely off cigarettes, to the point that having one too many cocktails on a night out, I wouldn't even have the urge to smoke a real cigarette. Going out and drinking was always the hardest to fight the urges to not smoke, not anymore. Vaping is not an over night quit smoking miracle but it does help to use it to fight cravings every day to where you're smoking less daily, and then eventually you're off cigarettes. Now I just need to get off the vaping, lol.
But to your original question: For me personally, having been a smoker, kissing someone with fresh smoke breath is almost gag worthy now. I'm super sensitive to it. I've seen guys that are smokers, they do not light up before seeing me, and it's barely detectable and didn't bother me, they also use mouth wash, gum, or listerine strips, upon entering on their own accord. I've also seen guys that have just put one out before coming in and that's just miserable, even when they use the mouthwash, it's too fresh and nothing is going to kill that taste or smell. When a guy leaves and my face and hair smells like an ash try, I'd say the smoke breath is a bit much, lol. If a lady has provided: tooth brushes, toothpaste, mouth wash, listerine strip, mints, and gum, a smoker should probably use all of the above to at least try to make the date more pleasant. And if it's an MSOG date, you should at least go rinse again before round 2, because that smoke breath creeps back up.

Hey! I have a few suggestions. I'm a smoker, (not in session, unless a fetish is scheduled,) and I barely get complaints on it. I'm sure the scent is there somewhere, and to non smokers, it's possible they pick up, but my mesmerizing looks distract them... Jk, lol,)
Really here is what I do. Bring a tooth brush. Tooth paste, scope, (listerine has a funky taste, especially with smoke, so I use scope,) and after that, rinse with hydrogen peroxide. Grab a fruit drink and some chocolate and chow on that about 15 minutes before the date, drink fruity drink, then rinse with mouth wash when you get there.
Every time I have to go through this, it reminds me of how inconvenient it is to smoke. Especially with this profession.
But then I eat the chocolate, and feel rewarded. Oh well lol.
Anyway, that's what I like to do. It works for me, I believe.
And if you see a provider who does smoke outside of this line of work, and she cleans up well, (for longer dates I wear a patch,) she may still smell it - so either offer her to a smoke break, or skip it until after your date and before clean up routine...

To be honest with you... Strong, pungent food breath is worse for me than smoke simply because I know that the smell/taste of smoke can linger, but when I run into a mouth that has that food taste, it just makes me question whether you brushed your teeth or not.
Thankfully, that is a rare occurance.

SPEAKING OF BRUSHING YOUR TEETH AND HOBBYING!
Ladies and gents (especially ladies),
Make sure you brush your teeth no less than 30 minutes prior to a session. Every time you brush your teeth, you run the chance of making small cuts on your gums and YOU KNOW it's a bad idea to mix bodily fluid and open cuts.
If you give yourself some time, these small skin breaks will close up before your appt.
Using a mouthwash and giving yourself time between appts will keep you safer.

Again, that hydrogen peroxide kills a lot of bacteria. It's nasty, but it is definitely good for more than disintegrating a smoky smell in your mouth. Whitens teeth too if done every day, and also heals minor cuts from brushing.

This. I have gentlemen friends that smoke and it honestly does not bother me. Smoke can still be tasted in a clean mouth.
Halitosis from poor dental hygiene is just....no....

I am not a smoker but, when I drank (three months sans alcohol) I would sometimes smoke cloves. I HATED the way my breath smelled the next day.
I can smell it on a man's breath from across the room and as much as I love to kiss...I just can't go there.
A tip I have heard, is to take mouthwash and Q-tips and swab the inside of your nostrils. A great deal of the lingering odor is in the nasal and sinus cavity. Might burn a bit, but, it does favorably affect your breath.
Don't even get me started on cigarettes and how it affects the taste of a man's.... uhhhhhhh....cum
To the OP - good for you for working towards being a non-smoker

When you tried vaping what level of nicotine did you use? Also you can use a modded vaper that will allow you to get a bigger dose. I visited Monster Vape this past weekend with a friend. While I don't smoke I was listening to everything they were saying. That's a really great store and very helpful. Maybe they can help you find the right combination.

I've been around several vapers and not smelled a thing. I don't know how they taste though - I would think the nicotine would taste unpleasant.

I always try to keep gum, mints, etc. In the car and I always try to wash my face and hands so I don't reek too bad. Just how much of a turn off is it to you if you don't personally smoke? Can you smell or taste smokeless tobacco as well? I ask because I love DFK and GFE in general and I have noticed a reluctance at times for ladies to get to kissy face at times. BTW, I always shower and wear clean clothes before I make me hobbying trek into town. I understand that the easiest answer is to stop smoking, like I said I am just trying to find out how much of a turn off for GFE it is. Thanks in advance.
