Newbie question ladies: Why the Outcall Upcharge?

- auto expense

- her time (she could miss out on another appointment by having to travel)

- safety (she's comfortable at a place she knows well)

- anything delivered to your doorstep is generally more expensive, unless you're using Amazon Prime. Maybe Amazon can start offering hooker delivery by drone in the near future.

For me it is the travel time, your convenience, and sometimes valet parking. Although a gentleman will offer to pay for a ladies parking expense. I had considered charging a dollar per mile from incall but decided that a flat rate is much simpler for both parties. I live 30 miles from downtown, 50 miles from Katy and Sugarland. It would be very inconvenient for a guy to travel that far but I have made those trips. And I'm sure the extra 50 was worth their time not spent traveling.

I'll opt to not upcharge for outcall dates for a couple of reasons: 1) for extended dates or 2) if I'm visiting a gent only a few miles or so from where I'm based. But If I'm travelling quite a distance, I think it makes sense to upcharge. Especially once the mileage and travel time start adding up, as I take cabs or Uber.

Regarding the cost of hotels versus transportation, there is the factor that hotels are more cozy and convenient than being on the road, getting stuck in traffic, etc. But also, for me, the financial burden of a hotel room is dispersed over a longer period of time (a night or two), so even though it costs more upfront, in ways it's more economical.

For me, it's not so much about the money. I have a perfectly lovely, clean, safe, well-appointed, uniquely-decorated, private apartment in a gated complex that I'm already paying for, with all the conveniences and supplies (full bar, snacks, costumes, lingerie, 31 flavors of lubes & lotions, toys, props, even an outdoor garden area for lighthearted exhibitionism, and a 4-poster iron bed for certain fun fantasies) needed right at hand, so why pack a bag and brave the demolition derby streets of Houston, enduring the frustration of driving, getting lost, and/or being stuck in traffic, the unease of going somewhere unfamiliar which may or may not have everything necessary for our best play date, which may or may not be up to my sanitary and/or security standards, and then travel back? I suppose I like to control the situation I'm in so that I'm more relaxed. And time-wise, a one-hour appointment can easily eat up a whole afternoon or eve if crossing town, so not the most practical use of time.

I ask a mere $50 outcall fee for the Houston area, and that in itself encourages many gentlemen to knock on my door, saving the money and possible spending it on extra time with me. I do waive the fee for my more extensive packages, like movie and dinner dates.

I realize that it inconveniences fellows to travel to my incall for the same reasons I stated above, but I have experience in making gents comfortable and making them forget that nasty transit, and most prefer the environment that my stable, intimate incall offers, and they enjoy the amenities not available at a hotel. I'm also more likely to forget the clock exists if I'm at my own lair of lechery, as I don't have that drive back to worry about, allowing more time to chat and get acquainted and let passion happen at a less forced, more natural pace.

I hadn't considered private in-call preference (although isn't this an exquisite minority?) tolls, valet parking, and ... I suppose a convenience tax to push clients to incall instead of outcall.

Doing an outcall to a shady part of town and the driving distance can be hectic. And by logic, she has to take the time to doll herself up and then leave rather than doing it at her own pace.

I've seen the different scenarios of ladies who charge the same or more for outcalls. I find once the initial meet is done everyone is more comfy. Like screening, it goes both ways.
After that some waive the fee some don't, no deal killer.
Yesterday I travelled 1hr to see a lady, and I provided the room when we were done I left she stayed.
I see another lady and always get a room close to her so she can take her kiddo to the swimming pool.

As for the house calls (the rare) its always more of a FWB provider case, usually a regular that we've really clicked
