I like Suzushii in Cedar Hill. Haven't really tried any sushi places in Dallas, but I'm taking notes right now! lol

Is RA good? I've heard it is, but never been in, and they just opened in Southlake.

For those down south, I still love Tei Tei (Henderson/Knox) and Teppo (Lowest Greenville). I think the Tei-An guy had a hand in those originally. Plus, some restaurant owners I know go there often, so that says a lot.

I still need to try Uchi, but I heard it's $$$. I've only eaten at the NY Nobu, but it was fantastic.

"Down south?" Both of those restaurants are well north of down town. What would you call the Cedars, Bishop Arts District, or South Oak Cliff?

HA!…yeah, guess you're right. It's funny how the "hobby universe" has reset what zero latitude is for me! And by that I mean how damn near everything hobby-related is north of Forest Lane/Walnut Hill/LBJ.

So…I'll call the Lowest Greenville area "east and a little north".

Man, I think Sushi Zushi is pretty damn good. Not as good as Tei Tei or Tei An, but quality IMO.

Thumbs up Densetsu in Plano

I've been all around DFW and this is the best kept secret in town. No matter what time or day I go this place is always packed. They also have an extensive Japanese menu for non-sushi lovers. But the sushi is incredibly fresh and the portions are huge. I can throw down sushi and coming to this place it was the first time I had to request for a doggy bag for leftovers.

I was at the RA in Addison last week, the happy hour menu is pretty good. Had a few cocktails and the rare ahi tuna, which was quite good. Then again Im a sucker for anything with a hot pink center.
