In my opinion asking for a prepay deposit is just tacky and a red warning flag

I have many friends who require deposits, but their rates are above the $600 mark. Seems a bit odd to pre-pay for a $250 date, but stranger things have happened.

I require deposits to GUARANTEE a booking from someone I don't know only. By that I mean, if a new person books an hour and does not send a deposit to secure it, I have every right to take the 4 hour who might also want that same spot...it is what it is. I don't "ask" for it, but it is a rule of mine.

I have had too many people try and take advantage of my "pre-booking specials" just to end up canceling last minute knowing I turned other people away....not too many ever offer a fee for costing ME money, so I don't need business from people like that.

I don't care about the idea that I can fill that spot....that's not what I feel like having to deal with when I am in town, which is why I pre-book. Asking for prepaid bookings just to visit a city.....well, I have never done that.

I have already made my mind up to go regardless of how many pre-bookings I get, so I don't need my expenses paid for in that instance. It is only when ONE guy expects me to travel just to see him, that I require all expenses paid upfront. IMO if he is that against a deposit, he is saying "I am not sure if I can make it to begin with." Then don't feaking book it!

I have always gotten deposits for overnights or any travel dates, and that's just pure commons sense. I have never had a problem with it, because it's not like it's a shock....it's on my "Packages" page. If someone can't pre-pay your airfare while demanding you come to his city, I doubt highly he can afford the few grand for the overnight anyway.

How do you get a refund? I don't offer refunds if YOU cancel....that's the point lol. I hold it for the next time you book, and trust me guys make darn sure they show up for THAT appt. If I should have to cancel which is highly unlikely, he is free to tell me the most secure way to get that back to him. Most have given a P.O. box or Green Dot account. I had one who even had a provider friend of mine pick the money up and get it to him.

For just an hour or two hour appointment, I think it's a hassle for both parties involved. Though I do require a deposit for out of state over nights.

Saying that a reputable provider won't scam you is just like saying a reputable hobbyist won't scam you. It's human nature that scams occur. To say that they'll likely scam you is another story.

It's possible and maybe likely, but also beyond stupid. One review saying she did so will ensure she never gets another deposit again, not to mention a big loss in business overall.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am not that desperate that I would have to streal a few hundred bucks lol. That's beyond needy.

I don't think so. Very few men do reviews, and very few reviews on ladies are done. Besides, you can't post a review when you didn't meet. The only thing you can do is post an alert. And many will not do so.

Charles I am talking about ladies who DO rely on reviews for their business. Most of those ladies see men who already found them on review boards and have no issues writing a review. I would not send a utr provider a deposit either, unless she had a reputation among people I knew.

Yes you can in fact write a review of a scam on other boards. TER, E.com, TBD, and SGFE all allow ncns reviews, and that's exactly what a scam would be. You can also write a ncns review here if I am not mistaken...I have seen them a few times in that past.

I wouldn't. Lots of time it's not a question of someone scamming someone it's more a question of of a provider not being well organized, or her personal life is rather unsettled, or It took today to snow 3 feet, or she got of her car, tripped over the curb and busted her nose. The same all applies to the hobbyist. While a deposit will shift some of the impact of a no show from the provider to the hobbyist it will also discourage many hobbyists.

Where both people are trying to be discrete I see a deposit making it much harder to maintain that discretion. If I lay some money down on the table while I'm undressing who's to say why I did. Once I start transferring money to her or she transferring money to me there now becomes a permanent paper work trail.

Just because they CAN write a scam alert or NCNS review doesn't mean they will.

One of our local ATF providers put someone I know $10K in the hole in one month in prepaid sessions that never took place. He refuses to post an alert because no one will believe it. Funny thing is, several other guys have similar stories but also won't write reviews.

Another ATF likes to let guys go over on time for several sessions, until she goes bat shit on your ass on the third or fourth visit, saying you owe her. No one reviews it because no one would believe it.

Here is a classic example of what happens when a guy posts an alert on a thoroughly reviewed lady:
http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=177555
The end result was great but all the WK's in the first few pages are nauseating. While it's not an issue regarding deposits, you can clearly see why men have hesitation to do so, posting an alert is typically an exercise in futility.

Don't be fooled just because it is a review board. That doesn't really mean anything.

Well that is on HIM if he does not write the review. I know too many who darn well would warn others regardless of the fallout..it's called BALLS! I know a girl also who is from St. Louis who did this same thing, and you're right...no review. Still, all of a sudden she went from $400 to $200, so I would say it did affect her. How did I know about this? She was texting one of them for money during our appt. lol.

I can also bet some guys got word to stay away...in private. Just because a review is not written for all to see, does not mean she was not called out back channel. The very fact you know about those two instances suggests word DOES get around, one way or the other.

And not all boards are like Eccie lol. Many don't even have a section to allow the WK to make such comments.

No problem with deposits. Asking and getting are two different things. If I want my date delivered, I will pay fob-origin. However, I prefer to travel to where she is at.

Any smart provider would not have you wire money lol. has zero trace back to you, nor do pre-paid Visa Cards. Being "discreet" is of my utmost concern for myself and my clients, and I would never risk that for any amount of money. I am not trying to convince anyone to do something they are not comfortable with, but at the same time I won't put my money or time on the line without being covered. It's very reasonable to require deposits for dates that are several grand, or include travel. Guys spending that much money don't tend to have a problem paying a deposit of only a few hundred bucks.

I try to never say never.... but I've never paid a deposit , and I never plan to!

Good reputations , verifiable history , and tons of references should be enough... or else, we will probably not meet!
