Binghamton really doesn't have many options. But maybe it's because of the market. I can spend one day in Rochester, Buffalo, or Syracuse and make more in one day than I'll make all month in Binghamton. I have very few local clients.

Nice poetry! If only life was so simple that is could always be condensed into such a simple sonnet. The details of marriage as we age can present severe challenges. I don't need to elaborate on my particular circumstances. Your simplistic analysis overlooks the unexpected twists of life that can beset any of us. No apologies needed here, and no disrespect to the lady that is still my best friend.
