I was the originator of the old thread, and gosh knows I don't want to start that mess up again nor debate why it flatlined. However, providers were NOT the whole problem. Too many cooks were tinkering in the kitchen. I'm sorry, but moderation at the time was capricious; rules and interpretation kept changing until pretty much ANYTHING was a violation. (Even semantics were being argued. My final post there was determined to be an infraction since I stated I had a cancellation and would be available "after 5" instead of "at 5." Really?)
I freely admit that some ladies (AND gents) couldn't follow a straight guideline unless they were glued to it, but that's little different from any other forum on ECCIE, past or present.
If ONE set of concrete parameters was established with limits on how often providers could post, and one editor and a couple of mods IN SYNC on consistency would monitor, it might succeed, but who wants to take on that much work, especially in a market as active and large as Houston? And besides, doesn't the general ISO section fill the need for guys looking for short notice well enough? And as Dorian pointed out, providers already have 2 venues in which to advertise weekly, not to mention that every post a lusty lady makes is a promotional opportunity.

All you have to do is look in the original thread....

If my memory serves me correctly the majority that posted in it were violating the rules.

If memory serves me correctly, that was just one set of rules, they were modified a few times. Plus where's the f-ing cliff notes version?
I had a baby and left the hospital with less instructions then that.

When you are providing full-time and see clients by appointment only, you'd be surprised how many cancellations a girl can have and if you are a provider that sees newbies last minute cancellations and NCNS's can be a daily thing.

This wont work out. This medium doesn't seem to be conducive for that type of "calendar keeping" not to mention the effort required for it to be kept current by all parties.
Great idea, unfortunately there are fucktards on here that would jack it all up for the providers by booking and then NCNS on purpose, just to be a dicktard.

If exists, this could have been a useful tool to hobbyists like me who can't preplan most of the time.

Perhaps someone will grab iPimp.com when it expires at the end of the month and set something up that will work.... iPimp.net is being offered up for sale too.

In theory....a tard could just put a threAD up in ISO every day asking..."Who's available today? and what time?"...wouldn't that be a pseudo SNATCH thread?
