If you're looking for good BBQ, then you need to go to Goode and Company. Problem is that it's not in the Galleria. The two closest would be on Kirby near Richmond and near the Katy Freeway inside the Beltway.
But, you'd need to come to the suburbs for the best BBQ at Rudy's.
No one can fuck with my uncle Ray Ray on the que been at it since he was 9 he's now 60. But try out Burns it's nowhere near the Galleria but worth the drive. It's also kinda in the hood (Acres Homes) but don't worry white people go there all the time. No one will fuck with you trust me.
Opted for Maggianos tonight. BBQ at one of the suggested places tomorrow for sure.. ladies, gents, care to join me
I would because I can never turn down good BBQ, but I'm out of town.
I am pretty picky since my own BBQ cooking team has been grand champion at the HLSR and I really don't think Goode Co is all that Goode. They were pretty good at one time before they had so much competition. Now, they are simply mediocre. If you are up in Spring any time try out Corkscrew. Their meat is on point right now.

+1. IMHO, Corkscrew and Luling City Market are a two way tie for best in Houston. Corkscrew offers monster beef ribs on Saturday, 1-1/2 lbs. of meat on each rib. I didn't mention it because it is nowhere near the Galleria. Their sign says: Open 11:00 AM until sold out. The line starts forming around 10:00.
If a drive is not an issue, try the original City Market in Luling, Tx. Same great sausage, etc. as the one on Richmond.
