Hillbilly, there were 60 million people getting Medicaid before Obama was even elected. The trickle down theory simply does not work. Success certainly did not trickle down to Mississippi and Louisiana. Mississippi is so poor it could be a "Third World Country". Mississippi is dead last in average income per capita.

You are an idiot. Less than 3% of Planned Parenthood is abortion related, and there is no Federal funding being used. That means there 97% of Planned Parenthood is about education,. women general care, birth control (pills, condoms, and education), and other services.
So you rightwing nuts sound idiotic every time you open your pie holes and spew your stupidity. Why is it you care so much for a fetus, but once it is born you cease to care? Funding sex education, parenting classes, real education, SNAP, WIC, and other services would seem prudent.

those stats are totally phony- the 3% is the old liars figure and figures lie proved once again
according to planned parenthood's own information they performed 327,116 abortions in the 2013-2014 year
using 6 days a week for 52 weeks (312 days out of the year) they commit over 1,048 abortions a day..the time and effort and people committed to that process far exceeds the scooping of condoms out of a free for all bowl
the 3% thing is some fantasy where they count "services" as having equal weighting and if someone goes there for an abortion, and they hand her a pamphlet about something else and some birth control pills and then well these "services" begin to count up far more than the 1 abortion
the no federal funding thing likewise is phony, its all in the bookkeeping. federal money is about 41% of their funding- take that away and what will they have to charge for abortions to keep open? abortions are subsidized

It's a fact that every business is kept afloat by all of it's revenue: not just a small fraction. It's a mendaciously disingenuous spiel to argue that the revenue from one procedure only pays the light bill for that procedure and doesn't subsidize the light bill for every procedure. Try not paying 40% of your light bill for a couple of months and see how long your energy company lets you get away with that scam. Regarding PPH's bogus "3%" BS, per the hearings, PPH's 2013 tax returns show that 86% of it's commercial revenue from paying patients is for its abortion services; hence, contrary to the provisions of the Hyde Amendment and in violation of the law, U.S. taxpayer dollars have been used to subsidize abortions.

For Planned Parenthood abortion stats, ‘3 percent’ and ’94 percent’ are both misleading

4 things Planned Parenthood's president admitted under oath
The real value of the hearing was that, unlike when Richards appears on TV, this time she was under oath. That yielded several admissions.
First, Planned Parenthood often says that abortions are only 3 percent of the services they offer. The Washington Post's "Fact Checker" has given this dubious claim "three Pinocchios." When Richards was asked to divide the number of patients Planned Parenthood saw last year by the number of abortions, the answer was 12 percent. Even more amazingly, when federal funds are exempted, 86 percent of Planned Parenthood's revenue comes from abortions.
Second, Richards and Planned Parenthood advocates regularly claim that women receive mammograms at Planned Parenthood facilities — as she did on CNN in 2011, to give one example. Asked by freshman Rep. Mia Love (R-Utah) if Planned Parenthood facilities offer mammograms, Richards admitted they don't. None of the 650 to 700 facilities offer mammograms, nor do they even have the equipment.
Third, Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.), the author of the bill to end taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood by shifting the funding to community health centers, asked Richards to explain her claim that her bill would block access for women's health. Community health centers outnumber Planned Parenthood facilities by at least tenfold, and they offer additional services like mammograms that Planned Parenthood does not offer. Richards had no real answer.
Fourth, Rep. Steve Russell (R-Okla.) asked the single most interesting question of the day: If federal funds do not go to abortion services, would ending federal funding reduce abortion services? He cleverly caught Richards in a trap. Admit that federal funding goes to abortion, and Planned Parenthood is violating federal law. Admit that ending federal funding doesn't reduce abortion services, and you undercut the defense of Planned Parenthood's funding. She had no real answer and was clearly stumped.

IB, Iffy and nevergaveitathought will raise them!
We should fund the fuck out of PPH
We should outlaw 2nd and 3rd term abortions .
Anybody that wants to cut funding should be made to double their taxes to fund the future costs of these unwanted kids.
That is like cutting funding to the SPCA because you do not like the fact they neuter dogs and cats. Makes no fucking sense.
PPH is responsible for having fewer abortions !

The real story is that any woman that wants an abortion should be expected to foot the costs for the abortion.

It would affect a lot of patients, especially lower-income ones.
In 2010, 2.4 million American women and girls got contraceptives — such as birth control pills, condoms, and IUDs — from a Planned Parenthood, according to the Guttmacher Institute, a research non-profit that advocates for reproductive rights. In 2010, more than one in three women who received contraceptives from a publicly funded clinic, which offers at least some of their patients free or reduced-price care, did so at a Planned Parenthood.
We couldn't find numbers on how many Americans have visited Planned Parenthoods for non-contraceptive services, but the organization's data say that 42 percent of the services it provided in 2014 were for sexually transmitted infection screening and treatment; 34 percent were for contraception; and 9 percent were for cancer screening. Three percent were for abortions. Altogether, those services may account for millions more men, women, boys, and girls.

Who foots the cost of her unwanted child for 18 years? (We do)
This is a simple math problem.
Cost much less to educate and help young horny kids out of a problem that we all will be saddled with.

It would also help to employ American citizens who could then be productive and not get government assistance while 3rd world illegal immigrants are working their former jobs for fat and greedy contractors, and the illegal aliens send their money back to Mexico and its economy, rather than helping our economy.
You might have to pay them more, of course.
