Kurt Sutter created another series set in medieval times with Katey Sagal (Gemma). Bastard Executioner...VERY graphic...didn't like it.

That was the original rumor while SOA was ongoing. Sutter decided that he wanted to do a show focusing on the Mayans club instead though.

Last I heard the show was going to be called "Mayans MC" and was already filming earlier this year so it should be on TV soon.

I guess looking at it objectively it would be difficult to do a precursor show. Hard to really picture someone else playing Clay, Gemma, etc. Better Call Saul is really the only one I can think of to pull off a precursor show-and that is largely due to the fact that the same actors are involved.

I watched Papillon this weekend for the first time in 30-40 years....in reading up on it apparently a remake is in the works with Charlie Hunnam(Jackson Teller) as Papillon.

Shed a fucking tear at the end when Steve M gives D.Hoffman a sweet hug and jumps off the cliff

Unfortunately, most movie remakes are like trying to repaint the Mona Lisa or cover a Led Zepp song. The brilliance of the original cannot be re-captured.

Same actor that played Opie is on a show I binged call the Outsiders about a hillbilly clan. Not bad, but not as good as SOA. He Looks the same in this show as SOA.

Did you know the actor that plays Opie was in the Denzel Washington football movie "Remember the Titans" when he was younger? He was all clean cut with a buzz cut. He's the one that gets paralyzed
