They might in fact be lying and they might be in fact manipulating the media and everybody who is reading the story but they won't lose a single second of sleep over it and if you think otherwise you are crazy.

Anybody who thinks the police are stupid doesn't spend a whole lot of time reading the news or seeing how these guys operate. They operate with impunity and with very little regard for the people they hurt while playing their games.

Easy to follow, just submit an online FOIA request. 5 days from now you will have copies of the criminal complaint, depositions, etc

It won't make the news again unless there are more substantial charges filed as a result of any more investigation.

If she is presented with an option to make this go away by being a CI, she would in a heartbeat. She doesn't care about anyone but herself and any whatchamacallits, and in these situations, self preservation is King.

You don't need to file a FOIA request. Just go to the court and pull the record. It's a public document, that's what a right to a free and open trial means. DUH!

In fact, you may be able to do it online.
