In facebook, go to Settings and you will find "Apps" in the left menu.
Click to view the Apps settings, Remove any unnecessary apps or edit the settings as needed.
Also Facebook app in mobile has access to your phone contacts, so if you are using the same phone for hobby and for facebook, then facebook can get your contacts phone number for friend suggestion.
So please dont save any providers/hobbyist phone numbers in your contacts, if its also your regular phone.
But still we might not know what other ways they can get our details, so better use separate phones.
