Although I didn't hear all of Session's "testimony," it seemed that is what he was saying ... reading between the lines. If subordinates are tasked with the responsibility of "investigating" the Clintons et al and they botch the job or conduct a "focused" investigation to exonerate them, then he can fire them for "dereliction of duty" or out right incompetence and complete the investigation. Sessions knows how to do that (investigate). He's done it before.
That is one reason the Liberals and Criminals want him gone. He's got balls.
