I've seen some on here just because of there posting and there so-called status. Some where worth it and some was so-so. It still goes back to researching the lady, feeling comfortable with her, and sometimes overlook what she says in forums because that her forum personality and not her real personality.

On the other hand though, I have gotten the wrong impression from some posts and threads where my opinion of that person was subsequently changed in private conversation.....so you can never tell everything by the posts/persona you see.

Sometime's people just live up to their board persona.

There's a few guys I would never see based upon their postings. They usually have no problem talking down, degrading women and if they're willing to do that online, chances are they're willing to do in person.

Do men choose not to see me because of my posts, I'm sure some do. But, I look at it this way. I lived without their money so far, I think I'll be OK without in the future.

I post my opinions, give my advice and I always stand behind everything I post. Some can choose to read it, some like it and some don't like what I write. Could my posts be right, could they be wrong? Sure, but what I write is what I live by and I'm doing OK.

Like a online friend told me one time ..you can actually get an idea about ones personality by their posts and by chatting with them online .
It may be wrong to do it but there have been certain things said in some of the posts that make you think WTF and makes you question some of the providers and clients on here and im sure people think the same about me.
so yes posts and chats influence your decision to see people both good and bad.

When someone new contacts me I always search their post history to determine if it is someone I would be interested in meeting.

I'd go further, there are relatively few providers I see who haven't established a posting presence on the board. To me personality (and I'll lump having interesting ideas and opinions in with 'personality') is hugely important. Do you seem to have fun in the hobby? Do you have interests beyond the hobby (not involving shopping.)? Appearance alone doesn't cut it. But that's just me.

And there certainly can be a significant disconnect between the board persona and the actual personality.

Several times something that a hobbyist posted (or PM'd) tweaked my interest and made me want to find out more. My first impression is most often correct.

On the other side someone that is rude, disrespectful , or seems totally one dimensional (sex alone) would not enjoy my company long and vice versa. With me sensuality is the spark that lights blazing passion.....on both sides.
