I agree knowing some coworkers that got here the hard way no pun intended. 6 or 7 times a month would be a bargain for them as it's the easiest path to citizenship. You've really got to work your ass off to get it 100% above board.

USCIS is cracking down on "arranged" marriages, too.. I wouldn't want to be the guy putting a ring on the wrong finger.

You would need to know some critical facts about her and at least make it look like you loved her. If any questions about her profession come up the easy answer is it's an open marriage. Plus she makes great money doing it.

Expanding and agreeing with Chung's comments, for the duration of the "marriage" joint ownership must be shown on everything: house, bank accounts, cars, life insurance, medical insurance, retirement plans, ad infinitum. Not worth it!

Do you have a reference for this? I was told directly by a Board Certified Immigration Attorney that this is not correct.

it is not correct.. assets that were yours before marriage can be kept separate. but what is correct, is USCIS will determine some 2 years after your marriage, if you have a real marriage.. meaning living together, and demonstrating to an officer's satisfaction, via face-to-face interview (both parties present) that you don't have a sham arrangement.. it's not hard to determine.. body language, the way you both interact in the officer's presence...
