Voice is obviously the best, but if not available for a good reason, I will tell them where I am located by description. Usually in conjunction with what car is parked out front or I'll tell them where to park and just (OMG) come outside to meet them.

I won't see anybody without a physical address. If it's an apartment complex I don't have to have the exact room number but I want to know what complex it is.

Give me the address, I'll text when I'm 5 out, you give me the room number, I come to the door, you open it while standing behind it, I put something on your dresser, I bore you for an hour, I leave. This isn't complicated. This is probably why I usually see the same two people so I don't have to deal with stuff like this.

I have you text me when you are about 15min's away

I give room number when you are parked at hotel and you have let me know you are there .

I give address 1- 2hr before said time to meet with a text of a screen shot of hotel , so there's no oh you text me the wrong addresses BS or NS reason .

I had one told me she is at a hotel near SMU.

The appointment was for 2 pm.

She told me to go to Mockingbird and 75 near SMU.

When I get there to text her and she will tell me exactly which hotel and room #.

I got to the area around 1:40 pm in the area, sitting at the corner of 75 and Mockingbird.

Text her to let her know I am in the area; asked her where do I go next.

almost 10 minutes went by before she replied telling me:

I am at the Crown Plaza Dallas on 35, the one at 35 and West Mockingbird which is not the same as Mockingbird at 75.

That is 6.1 miles away going west on Mockingbird from 75 or 9 miles away going south on 75 to downtown, cut across west through downtown and then back north on 35.

Each route would had been 14 minutes and 20 minutes respectively.

Good thing my personal Uber Black SUV driver knows all the short cuts and he drives like Mario Andretti:

he picked the 2nd longer route going south on 75.

He got me to the Crown Plaza at 2:03 pm:

when I text her asking for her room # while I was still 2 minutes away, she still didn't give me her room # until about 3 minutes after I was in the hotel.

I walked in and went straight to the nearest men's room in the lobby area while waiting for her to text me her room # so I wouldn't look suspicious standing or sitting around in the lobby looking at my phone.

Therefore I have learned from this lesson.

If a provider is not going to send me the exact location first (name of the hotel with the correct address or name of the apartment complex with the correct address or the exact block # and street of the street address if she lives in a single family dwelling), I won't leave my house.

I know I am a bit old-fashioned, but I fail to see why some guys feel like they need to be a jackass just for the sake of being a jackass.

Samhyde asked a reasonable question and several ladies provided very reasonable answers to the question. Those ladies don't deserve to be ridiculed for their answers.

If you don't like a particular lady's safety protocol, then don't see her. But, each lady has the right to undertake the actions she believes are necessary for her own safety. If you can't respect that, I would submit that you don't deserve to be on this site.

Good lord! It’s how ever we choose to do it! It may seem stupid to you, but we are the ones letting a stranger into our space. If you want to see a lady and she asks you to follow her “safety” process, do and don’t complain or move on to someone who doesn’t care.

Sheeeeesh! When I read someone say a process is stupid It makes me think you don’t have any respect for the lady.

99% of the time I do a out call to a hotel, they wait until I have arrived to tell me the room number or meet me in the bar.

And sure enough you give someone your exact location and they come knocking 15 min early 🙄

For the record, I agree...you should be given a proper address for GPS and that will bring you to the immediate area. If it's a hotel...then it need to be the hotel address if it's a private location, then something within a block or so. I mean, I suppose if it's a smaller complex and the lady shows her face in pics, then I can see giving an address for the store across the street, but it needs to be CLOSE.

No one should be given the runaround.

I’m not saying it’s cool to make the poor guy drive around your neighborhood waiting to get the location, but if she chooses to have a process to her meet than thats her right. I personally always give my exact location but not my condo number. I also ask nicely that they please not show up early and sit in the parking lot. It doesn’t look very good. If they are early, just let me know and I’ll hurry!

2-step makes sense to me. I recently saw a woman who was a bit freaked that she had two cancellations before me from guys she had never met before, after giving them her address.
