Rjrtx, I'm sure you know the difference but for the guys who are reading this and may not, Indian people (South Asians, Desis) are very different from Middle Eastern (Arabs, Jews, Persians etc) people. Indians are usually much darker skinned with different facial features. Don't be fooled by the light skinned actors you see in Indian movies. Indian food, culture, language, music, religion etc. are also very different from Middle Eastern food, culture, language, religion, music etc.
I mention the difference here because a few people like to mix the two together and think they are the same or similar. They are not the same and they are not similar either. I know we like to group people together because it's easier to categorize everything in our heads but this is not a case where we should be grouping them together. The two groups are too different.
