They are both retards. Diesel and used motor oil will kill the weeds and everything else. Nothing will grow there for years. MSMA is the way to go. Go to the nearest feed store. Lowes and Home Depot quit carrying MSMA after the EPA got pissy. Feed stores carry it.

The best herbicides are at Tractor Supply but you need an applicators license to buy them.


Next best is Eraser if you can find it. I get mine at Outdoor Equipment.


1/3 the price of Roundup and 10x more effective. It kills the shit out of everything!!
