You obviously do NOT understand how a Republic form of government works... The states are supposed to take care of their citizens and only if ASKED for assistance from the state does the Federal government get involved, which they have and have doe an incredible job. Morons like the governors of New York, Michigan and Washington were totally unprepared for ANY disaster and the Federal government came to their rescue even though they shouldn't of had to. Thank God the Federal government was there to back up buffoons like Cuomo who taxed the living shit out of the citizens of NY and still ran up a $15 BILLION deficit and left the emergency cupboards bare!
