Nice advice.

I just took a quick glimpse of your site and the one suggestion that I would make is get rid of that Wikipedia reference to Aphrodite on your "about me" page.

I can barely read it with the orange notes included and it's not really "about you". It's about a goddess. You can include that someplace else.

And use your own wording if you wish to explain who Aphrodite is. If you're going to actually do that, realize that almost everyone is already going to know who she basically is, so make YOUR description of her clever and in some fashion linked to you.

And with your rates, you KNOW that men are going to look for brainy writing. So just go with that. I'm always tweaking mine up and frankly, it's rather rough right now and I've been procrastinating. So I need to get going and work on my wording!!!

Better to just have 1hr, 2hr, 3hr, - and a clock free rate than 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7hr rates then overnight, weekend, weeks.. it just makes it more confusing for the guy. I don't put an overnight rate on my site because I can't do an overnight with everyone. It's one of those case-by-case things. A clock free date should be the most attractive package out of the 3.

For example :

This way 3 hours is the hard to turn down package and the clock free is still attractive for those interested in booking more time. If you get a request for a 4 hour - you can quote that via email.

2000 clock free rate

You can say the date starts at 9am and ends at 9pm or whenever you get sleepy.
On my site , it has the definition of a clock free date for the guys to read before booking.
You can say 4-5 hours public outing - yall can go shopping, dinner, the beach - whatever in those
4-5 hours and the rest of the time is private time.

Your question is far from "dumb". I would not start a thread already with apologizing for yourself :-). Youre great as you are.

First, i second everything Naomi says, and i think what Elisabeth said about the link to Aphrodite is also a really great point. IMHO i personally suggest staying away from ideas that are too widely known already, for the sake of triggering interest. I assume people want to read something they have not heard before (ok, this is not always to be avoided since we are all operating within the same parameters) but i would try to think of something "less widely spread".

As to Photos: I am personally turned off by all these "blurring" of face pics and i think a good photographer should be able to make photos that don`t show everything but still are not "blurred" out. BEcause a photo looses alchemistry if you focus on e.g. face in shootings and then blurr it out. This is just my opinion, many might and do think of that differently i assume. Good photos (as in professional photographer) is a must IMHO. Especially if you try to convince men to spend much more money for you than for any other escort out there, you have to stick out of the crowd. You can`t demand classy clients and then have photos that look bad (and even in the luxury escort class this happens, and i am very sure it shows at one point in the bookings as well)

I`d recommend to get a great photo shoot (browse some styles first and then talk with a photographer that is expert in that style - in the USA tghe bodouir style seems to be the latest run for escorts - its not "my" style, i am more the Helmut Newton area - so its important to find a style that represents your personality instead of going with the flow - too much sweetness and sugar is simply not mine, IMHO its important to find a style that you -as a person - can relate to,identify with, because otherwise it will be considered fake when you see the client and they have a completely different impression than the image that is supported by the photos in the best way. :-)

Also, I`d do one set of shots and not many different ones (you can change/add/de-add them later over time and slightly change the set of the page as well to trigger interest again) because of the so called "patchwork carpet look" i personally try to avoid. The "whole" impression of a page must match, suit, and be good and easy on the eye. The person who looks at it should not have the impression to browse 10 different pages when opening up your portfolio or something. (just my 5 cents)

Critics of my page say its too much text, but since i am a yada yada woman i did not change it too much :-). But i think its better to have smaller texts with pointier content than to have too much texts and no one reads it.

Then links: I have heard its important to have a good choice of links (female friends e.g. and directory links) but avoid looking like a banner farm. A few good directory links should do it. (This is particularly difficult if you operate within Europe :-((...)

Other than that, you are all set. There is someone called "veda designs" in the USA for pages, i like her style, very sweet. ( I am in no way affilliated with her, so i don`t do blunt advertising....i just really like her style).

Also, avoid "first page banners" like the plague. I don`t do it, and don`t worry, it does nto really matter......some do require it for link exchange, but still, you can live without these pages who so desperately require these things. It ruins the impression (the very very very first) impression of class and style a client gets.

If you want to target weekend or travel appts. I suggest you make higher rates for hourly/two hourly appts, and offer greater variety with the travel appts. or even suggest "offers". That is at least what i do and it works great. You have to show some flexibility with the rates over time. Many (in my knowledge) luxury escorts do negotiations, maybe not for first timers, but in the long run for longer appts and for return customers i know it happens that you give different packages, which is also fair. Flexibility is the utmost must within that area of exercise :-).

Other than that, you are all set.

I have to disagree. Veda does good work BUT all her websites look the same. I prefer my site better. Heck I prefer your site better, Nina. It has a personal touch. You can go to a Veda Website and know there are hundreds like it. I always get compliments on my website. I'm always asked "Who did your website?" when I tell guys its me they're all amazed. Amanda is better of staying unique and true to herself for $10 a year than spending some $1000-$1400 on a website that looks like everyone else'. I would even go as far as recommending BellaHHD. before Veda because Bella makes it a goal to make sure no design she creates are the same unless requested. That's a web designer. Veda should be selling templates for her designs. that's how similar they are.

When it comes to Veda.´-designs, of course you are right. My webguy said the same to me about her than you did. He said its basically just templates and for my kind of photographs not really good.

But - considering the fact that most escorts refer to such "template designers" i consider her the best. What makes her special is , because it shows at least elegance as opposed to the usual style "sex pages" with the usual "tits and ass" pics who are .. well ... blunt, but without the additional chemistry that goes a bit furhter. Her style was different and therefor for me revolutionary in the escort scene. They are understated, elegant and stylish, as opposed to the usual bling bling or flashlight designs. I switched webdesigners three times because i was not satisfied and i would not get what i had in my mind :-)...before i finally found MY guy....:-)

I looked the web for inspirations like an idiot and i have not found anything remotely intriguing in the escort world than her sites, allm y other inspirations come from the world of art or photography.. Of course her pages all look the same, but they all look at least pleasant.

If i see one more luxury escort screaming on her page about education and style and then seing some cheap-o-hustler tits and ass photos accompagnying that "lack of style" and some other similarly distracting things posted, then i really really REALLY start to scream ))))) (lol, sorry , old cynic Nina is back.....)...., so veda designs were a pleasant surprise for me when it comes to style, elegance and the texts and the photos (i think she works them all and adds something to it)

And thanks for pointing out the above; it's the one thing that I've tried to keep constant thru my years as an escort designer. There are times when I HAVE to do what I refer to as a cookie cutter site, because that's what the client wants, but I'd much rather not.

After a while, no matter how pretty or elegant, they all start looking the same. All ladies want to stand out from the crowd, but it's difficult to do when your website is a clone of everybody else's.
