right I did not know they did that. they did it in 2001 and in 2004 on bushes' vote. I think the reason they didn't go forward with it was they didn't want to risk exposing the fraud they were committing.

what they did was not within the purpose of the statute, I stand by my initial statement. Maybe if the Dems win both Senate seats they will rewrite the statute to prevent this in the future.

Just looking how this process works regarding the 1887 law.

they go thru each states electors. seems that if there is an objection, and if accepted. both sides, House & Senate retires to their chamber for a 2 hour discussion for that particular state's electors. 6 states has various issues with their voting. this comes down to 12 hours of discussion.

Digenova says the January 6 session can last 3 days.
