That's demonstrated quite well right here. Lets look at the fact you are so desperately trying to deny. Two things can be true at the same time but some, the stupid people, feel the need to deny one, the one they don't like and promote the other, when both are true.


Yes, absolutely, undeniable, without question, the vast majority of people entering the Capital building, were Trump supporters. One woman recently arrested said that she only did what her President asked her to do "go to the capital and protest". Sorry sweetheart but being stupid and ignorant of the laws on trespassing and engaging in violent acts, is not a defense.


It is also true that this guy Sullivan was an activist, not a journalist and his comments, his documented comments "let's go" indicate he at the very least participated and with those words ( and others ) lead the mob, encouraged the mob. His defense, "I had to play along for my story". Sorry dude but breaking the law in order to play along with those breaking the law, isn't a defense or is it counselor?


So here again, once again, we see the problem. Two things happen, both demonstrable facts. Deny one that doesn't fit the narrative you want, like those that say it was people other than Trump supporters that were the majority, a lie, it was overwhelmingly Trump supporters. But try and deny that there was even one non Trump supporter because even one, could destroy your narrative.


What reasonable people like myself will do, is acknowledge both but for the stupid people, they can't do that. Which are you?

I believe it is possible to defend facts without defending Trump. Saying that an FBI lawyer illegally changed the wording of an official document, is a fact. It also helped defend Trump. Not my problem.


When the media said Rep. Nunes was lying about FISA applications, he was telling the truth. This was not a defense of Trump, it was the truth. Rep. Schiff lied when he said he had evidence that proved Trump had conspired with Russia and he got that information from officials he interviewed in a classified setting. When those de-classified documents were released, they showed that nobody had told Rep. Schiff any such thing, he lied. Was he held accountable? Nope. Was I making this argument in defense of Trump? Nope.



When I said that Trump had the legal right to challenge the election in court, a fact, it was not a defense of Trump but merely a defense of the law as I understand it and not being a trained lawyer myself, sometimes I am wrong but I always make clear it is my opinion I am stating which dedicated proponents of not telling the truth, try to challenge at every point because they are afraid to debate facts like the childish tsmokies demonstrates multiply times a day never challenging actual or alleged facts and opinions but challenging people with ad hominem attacks, something it takes no intelligence to do.


When I said that Republican took to the floor of the House to protest certifying electors, I pointed out that Democrats had done the very same thing, a fact. But could the left acknowledge that "fact"? Nope. They had to deflect to "the Democrats didn't riot". True but that wasn't the point being made. Why was it, is it so hard to admit to a fact that doesn't fit the narrative you are invested in? You could very well have said "you are correct, Democrats took to the floor of the House and objected to certifying electors and then made your argument why another matter, the riot, was more important but you couldn't, it might hinder your narrative.



Imagine what we could accomplish, if everybody was willing to admit to the facts, question opinions and agree to disagree on anything not a fact.


The fact, for those that still won't accept it, is that Trump lost. He took his case all the way to the SC and he lost. Like it or not, thems the rules. You don't riot, you use the system we have to change the rules.


I hope every single person that entered the Capital illegally, is punished to send a message, a message that was not sent for months on end when rioters burned cities and assaulted people over lies told by some of the people just elected.
