The studio owners/management have a lot more to lose if they ever get busted. My guess is that some agency owners rather play it safe and go the extra mile when it comes to verification so they can sleep better at night.

For sake of your argument, so LA can tell LE from DL? Do LEs have special DL that states they are LE? or LA has list of all local, state, federal LEa?
How checking or obtaining DL info help them sleep better?

Now as for my argument, LA obtaining DL info is only good when they get busted. Just like some prestigious agencies in past did, they can use information as leverage with AG or DA.

I have had one agency requested DL before (beside LA). Their going rate was 2-3k/hr and girls were real porn star or people with real career (not provides).

Last time I visited, it was 23 1/3 dz roses for 1 girl and rest were 21 2/3 dz roses.
